I ordered mine at 37+6 and it arrived at 38+1. Went into labour that night, wouldnt reccomwnd that haha. I think most places send them out at 37. Place I ordered from send at 37 and you get it for 7 weeks. You can extend that by another 2 for free, but you have to phone them.

  • Hi ladies, moving over from the pregnancy club. My little girl is now 10 days old.
Mossy I don't know how your getting on with the feeding now but I was suffering, as well. I had bleeding, blistering, and skin hanging off I was in tears with every feed but I discovered lanolin cream £10 a tube but amazing stuff it's like I've grown new nipples so I can highly recommend it x

  • I think we have a new record. Been piddled on four times today! Three times the nappy was off, I was getting ready to put the new one on and weeeee! The fourth he was just out the bath.

He thinks it's hilarious. So does OH. I'm not so impressed with the pile of washing in the basket of both mine and Jack's clothes.

  • Just wondered, if i could ask you lovely ladies a question regarding contraception?

I've got my 6 week check in a fortnight, and my midwife says i need to have made a decision with regards to what im doing re contraception, but my knowledge is limited on how good different types are. My GP isnt the sort of bloke i can talk to either. He doesnt really talk at all so to speak.

I had the Depo injections, which worked well for just over 1.5 year, then I became pregnant with DD while still having them, so wouldnt use that method again. Between DD and DS, we just used condoms.
We've decided we would like a third child, in approx 3 years. So not after anything permanent.

Just wondered what you ladies had decided, and if there was any you would/wouldnt recommend over others? Sorry if its too personal a question. Thanks x

its up to you , you dont have to decide right now, samuels 18 weeks (today) and i still havent told them what i want (another baby would be nice though lol)
we use the withdrawel method but then im not fussed if i fall again.

before samuel i was on the merina coil which also stops the bleeding completley

liam i was on the microginon pill so that works well lol

lewis i had stopped taking the pill two weeks b4 and fell straght away

abstinance works really well though ;-0

Redhead - I have my 6 week check soon too and Im planning on asking for the mini pill. Like you we want another pretty soon (within 3 years) the combined pill doesnt agree with me.

We have had screaming all night again. OH kindly said he'd look after Aaron last night (i.e do the feeds) but instead we had screamy baby. So although i got a few hours it was so broken. Got LO in the living room to let OH get a few hours on his day off. Surprise surprise he's now cuddled in and looks like he'd go down but I dont want to risk it and have screaming again as my OH needs/deserves a sleep.
