I must be the only person who uses baby bath although she has had bath in big bath at my mims. will need to swap soon as her bath toys won't fit in hehe.
I first took Poppy swimming about ten weeks Old.
Kira - mine started with tummy pains so fingers crossed!0 -
Rose is allowing us around 7 hours a night, which is quite good I think.
That's fab Lirin! How old is she now? Jacob is coming up for 10 weeks on Thursday and has started sleeping 8-9 hours the last couple of weeks. I'm sure my other 2 didn't sleep that long this early!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -
Cant remember who said about maternity pads, but as far as i was aware, the midwifes etc like u to use them as if they did need to check them for any reason, they know how much (ish) has been absorbed etc, whereas they cant tell so well on a normal sanitary towel. So stick with them for at least a week, until the heavy bleeding has stopped and its more like a normal period. Hth :0) xMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Lirin good to see you! Hope everything is still going well, by the sounds of it though, you and OH are quite lucky on the sleep frontThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

That's amazing she's obviously a well chilled baby!
Agree about using maternity pads rather than sanitary pads. It might be TMI but you get a few gushes sometimes and sanitary ones couldn't really cope with that lol!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

For those who were told they were having big babies, what did you do about hospital? Take a mixture of newborn/0-3 or what? obviously I can't take the recommended amount of vests/baby grows in both sizes as space is limited.
Same with nappies, if I take size 1 and they don't fit do they have size 2's in the hospital they'd let me "swap" ?The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Jacob was fine in the size 1s for a couple of weeks Gilly so don't worry about the weight guidelines on them. It all depends on how big their tummies are to get the nappy around lol! I took all 0-3 clothes into hospital as I knew he would be tall like his brothers. You could always pack a mixture of both in your hospital bag, then have another bag of clothes your OH could keep in the car and bring in as and when you need them. We went through a few sets of clothes even though I was only in 2 days as nappies leak, clothes get puked on etc etcThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0
