koalamummy sorry to hear about your DS, hope things are better today.
Kira glad you are feeling better.
I asked on the facebook about letting DD sleep at night/waking her at night for a feed and they said to let her sleep!
Jen i have a tommy tippee one and used it for the first time yesterday and was ok.
So DD had her first bottle yesterday and she took it, think i may express again tomorrow. Had another good night DD didnt wake up for a feed, i usually give her a feed after 9 whenn we go to bed but thinking off maybe giving her a last feed at 10 or 11 so could maybe go longer at night.
Can i do anything to help with DD noises at night? her noises have changed. hard to explain but it kind off sounds like she gulping something.0 -
Well after a very sleepless night, where LO screamed non stop from 11 until 10, with a sleep in between, health visitor came in this morning. She said not to worry about the bottles, it's highly unlikely they're causing the wind, and most people like to try and lay the blame somewhere. She said it really is up to us if we want to try Dr Browns but she said it's about 50/50 from all her experience (and she is quite old )
She said to monitor it and keep a diary of when LO is upset etc and if it is still as bad in a week go to the GP, as it could be silent reflux. She said bad bottom wind that they can't get out is common in babies being fed breast milk and all we can do is keep trying the cooled boiled water. Hopefully he has a better night tonight. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Just a quick question. Did any of you ladies still have cravings after you gave birth? I seem to still be craving dairy foods. I never ate lots of them before I was pregnant but now, I just want them all the time. Just wondered if it was common or if I'm strange lol.
I'm loving being a mummy again. Have so much love for my little family its unreal
And next time list is updated, can someone add me please. Little man is my 2nd baby, he was born 31/1/12 weighing 9lb 3.5oz. I have a DD and she is 5 x0 -

If you are bf, then dairy urges are pretty normal- to keep you and baby topped

I hate the fact that I'm sat up in bed feeding a baby that won't sleep and I can hear OH snoring on the sofa downstairs. I've had a really bad day today, I don't know if it's sleep deprivation or something worse but I just feel like I can't cope.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0

4nna.... i sooooo feel your pain! I have had times like that. The lack of sleep and not knowing when or how they will go down makes me feel hopeles. Last.night was one. Dh snoring just adds insult to injury.
Have you tried SSS ? Swaddle (them),Sway(in arms) and Shhhh (in their ear). Worth a try if not. Can help an over tired baby go off.
Big hugs.
