Ooooh. my boobs are so hard and swollen today! LO ate for england yesterday, so today my boobs are full full full! Had to hand express some to relieve the pressure. Got 20ml from one boob in about 2 minutes!

Hubby just rang he's stranded in park and ride with mum as car won't start he's phoned breakdown but don't know how long they will be and it's bloody freezing sigh:(


..... There is a god... Car been sorted by breakdown thank god paid extra for good breakdown cover !!

Yawn, after a lovely peaceful evening yesterday, we've been awake more or less constantly since 3am, oohh i'm tired! He seems quite windy and wakes up and squawks when it comes out, so every time I get him asleep, it only lasts minutes.

Hi everyone

I haven't had chance to read back but congratulation to all the new mammies, there have been a load.

Question about Colic. My little one has been suffering mostly due to the fact that he guzzles his food even though we use the right bottles, bigger teats and hungry baby formula. We have been using Colief which has been great but gave him diahorrea so we stopped using it. I then used Dentinox which is okay. Would it be an idea to mix and match to try and alleviate any diahorrea, if so which way would be best? (i.e, use Colief every 2nd or 3rd feed, or Colief for 3 days then Dentinox for 3 days).

Henry has also been full of a cold for 2 weeks bless him. He's even gagged on his mucus yesterday and today. Really hope it clears up soon as it's been a long and tiring week.

Hope all the expectant mums are doing okay too and have their feet up!!

Hi everyone,
Haven't been on for a while, really busy, hope you are all well - sending lots of sleep vibes your way.

So, as I mentioned earlier LO had a hard time transitioning from moses basket to cot, and I think he really has regressed, although, putting towels beside him really helped, however he is still not sleeping the 6 hours he was doing a couple of weeks ago, but he is only 8 weeks old so do you think I am expecting too much?

I was wondering, do you think at 8 weeks it makes a lot of difference whether he has naps in the day, how long they are and when he wakes up? Coz he had an afternoon nap that was 2hrs 15 mins long and he woke at 5:30pm and he didn't sleep well that night so I thought its probably because he had a nap too late in the evening, so the next night, even though he was tired I wouldn't let him nap in the evening and then I felt incredibly guilty for doing that. Do you think it matters at this age, should I be controlling his naps or should I let him nap when and for as long as he wants?

hey all it is DD1's 10th birthday today. 10 years ago today at 8.55 am i arrived at the local labour ward and at 9am i was holding baby Jade in my arms. best day of my life becoming a mummy!
