Hope you get to make the most of it *Nutella*!
Thanks - I hope so too! Btw, I've read all your posts and just want to send you a big ((hug)). I haven't replied, not because I don't care, but because I don't have much to contribute by way of bf advice as it didn't work out for me, and there are others on here with far more knowledge and experience. Hang on in there - the first few weeks are so hard, but it really does get easier x0 -

*hugs back* I know that silence doesn't mean you don't care
I knew it would never be easy... luckily the times that get me down don't last long.0 -

Gosh you ladies are chatty!!! Busy day here. Annoyed with MIL, she has Aiden thurs mornings and my mum picks up at 1pm. She called OH at 430 to say she cant have him as she has a headache....we dont have anyone else who can have him, my manager said I could take the morning as flexi but as Friday is my non working day, Thursday is manic for me and I need the whole day in-plus trying to save up my flexi and bank it incase I need a day off when Aiden is ill. We couldnt ask my sister as her little boy has development and communication problems and is very tempremental atm so we were a bit cross with her as she said she had the headache all day but only called at 430....
Anyway, we managed to book him in nursery for an extra half day but its going to cost an extra £18, my mum will just pick up from there. MIL is so unreliable....its the second time she has done it and if it happens again we have agreed we will have to find the money to put him in nursery Thurs mornings.
Anyway. Sounds like a lot of us have the same sleeping issue, Aiden goes off fine too but wakes at random times. The last 2 nights it has been 4:00 and I have just put him in with us for a couple of hoursneed to crack the problem though.
Nutella, I always worried that Aiden didnt eat enough. He ate everything I gave, but just little portions. I even asked the hv as I was concerned. But in the end I just figured thats him, I have a small appetite too. And he has got loads better now. At nursery he usually eats 3/4 or even all of his meals
Oh, I have his own butter tooI dont know why really but I am a bit obsessed too. OH went to give him a chip the other day and I went into overdrive. Although nursery occasionally give them small cakes and I dont tell them off lol!
Bamama, dont want to not comment, I didnt bf but had a screaming baby. He had reflux and horrendous colic from early on. I used to dread 11am and 6pm as that was his bad colic times....I spent a few nights sat on the landing crying with him at stupid o clock. Of course now I look back and think why did I get so upset, but thats hindsight for you! Hormones and lack of sleep make some crazy emotions. Things do, and will get better. x
Those with colic, or suspecting it, we tried everything here. Colief was good but for us it was too pricey and gave awful nappies every hour or so. Beat thing for him was dentinox. We added to the milk and it just took all the air bubbles away, it didnt get rid if the colic but it definately helped his little tummy.
Gilly, I need to be organised with my meals. Espesh now am back at work. I plan the week but am always forgetting to take meat out the freezer!
Am off to sleep I think...night xxxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea
