I think Asda and Next do them too, but only to a certain size, MC only do them to 0-3m I think...

Next website says "integrated scratch mittens up to and including 3-6 months" Next Sleepsuits are excellent quality too x

Marta sainsburys sleep suits have the integrated mitts. Tescos don't as far as I remember.

Gilly hope you're finger is better soon!

Mozzy glad Charlie enjoyed swimming! Mil is desperate to take George so I think that's our morning sorted out tomorrow :)

Speaking of the mil, we're getting on much better this time, taking a fair effort and more thana bit of polite smiling and nodding on my part ;) but its all good so far anyway.

    Hi Ladies,

Hope all have survived the last few days! I feel like I've gained about 2 stone in weight!! Had the most delicious M&S Chocolate dessert last night with lashings of cream - it was gorgeous but I dread to think how many cals were in it! Lots of dog walking planned to burn off the excess!!

Poppy is having a fab time playing with her new toys - think we have nearly the entire collection of Vtech toys now with her Birthday and Christmas presents combined!! She got this Vtech dancing tower which has a little bear on the top that dances and shakes and she just sits and laughs - proper belly laughs, its so cute!!

Having a bath now with all my new smelly stuff and an early night - didn't get to bed until 2.00am last night and was up at 6.00am with Poppy! I'm to old for these late nights now a days!

  • Gilly - Hope your little one gets well soon and hope your fingers gets better! The MAM bottles are going down a treat with expressed milk, thanks for the advice :)

mlbarret - I agree day/night just merge into one, I think its because I've been sleeping in until the 10am feed because missis just won't sleep at the 10pm and 2pm feeds, she likes to play at that point but loves sleeping in the day - typical!

marta - we have been doing shifts too, although daddy has been doing more than his fair share as I'm still trying to catch up on 4 nights of no sleep from last week. He had no sleep either last week but my excuse is I'm still recovering from various post-birth problems!

As for the christmas weight gain, its the first christmas I've lost weight :rotfl::rotfl: 2 stone in a week! Definitely slimmer of the week :D (I'll not mention the other 2 and a half stone that hasn't fell off since the baby was born!). I had loads and loads of fluid so I know that it is mainly that but lovely for once to see the scales going in the right direction! I'll take it while I can :D

Hi girls, i hope you dont mind me asking ( My 1st baby is 5yo) I will be 35 weeks tomorrow and saw the MW today, she measured my belly and it is 32 cms, booked me to see me again in 2 weeks to check again.
at 31+5 weeks i was measuring 30, so baby has grown a bit.

Is there anyone else who measured small for dates ? how big was your baby ? So far i have put on 5lbs and really trying to eat much more although i am not hungry and never been so far the entire pregnancy. She says not to worry eating more.

Phew - back after an utter nightmare journey home today with traffic at a standstill on most of the motorways we took!

Had a wonderful Christmas and Erin managed to personally unwrap all her prezzies herself which I thought was rather impressive for a not-really 8 month old! She was more interested in trying to eat the wrapping paper though really... also managed to chomp through half her Christmas dinner with it only adapted in terms of the veg being slightly mashed for her... then nicked someone's garlic bread, and toast, and someone else's yoghurt, and looked decidedly cheesed off she couldn't get her mitts on the wine too - basically she's just pretty much eaten anything and everything which had my stepfather's jaw on the floor with amazement at what a good eater she is!

Cheesed off with my dear cousin though - after the saga of the "name stealing" she finally admitted she'd got the name from our dog (I've had a month of my mother making excuses that she couldn't POSSIBLY have done that) and had endless comments from my stepfather that "you should just start calling the dog X Y and Z now instead" - she rocks up with her kids having a really really horrific cold/chest infection thing - and if Erin gets that, especially with her having suspected childhood asthma and an inhaler we're having to use a fair bit at the moment anyway - I will be INCREDIBLY cross with her for it. Also had charming great-grandad demanding I produce a boy next time - shame I'm too polite to tell people to get stuffed sometimes!

Now have an absolute mountain of toys people bought her! Think I'm going to be unpacking them for about a week - plus we had the fun of buttons getting knocked in the very tightly packed car all the way home (for a drive that took a good couple of hours longer than it normally should) so at random intervals we had various nursery songs, or "let's go play" or "hah hah hah I like cookies" chipping in all the way home!
