That's the danger of it being so cheap - a bottle of Baileys lasts ages in our house as it's a special treat, whereas if you've paid £3.99...

Vertbaudet continue to bombard me with all their deals and discounts (most of which exclude all the things you actually want), but this one's too good not to share... 30% off everything (including reduced items) until 19th Dec :) Code 5599.

Edit: 5599 is the code I received in an e-mail from them; their website says code 8138..

    Where is everyone tonight?!...
  • Sulking upstairs, p&ssed off that bedtimes are such a battle. He's just gone down, but only after 2 hrs, when I eventually cracked and did boob and my bed. I'm so wrung out right now, why can't he just go to f/:;ing bed in hs cot at a normal time and stay there? He bloody used to do it so why not any more! Grrrr

Not to put the mummys with bad sleepy babies over the edge but my daughter slept like a dream from 3 months only to suddenly go downhill at 15 months. Now she no longer goes in her cot awake, screams randomly in the night and once awake will not go down so sleeps in our bed. Now shes 19 Months i have a almost 6 week old and its still no better in fact i sleep downstairs with the newborn!

On a sidenote my newborn is a lot more laidback than she was as a baby. Getting me broody already lol

I've been making a birthday cake! Knackered now and trying to convince OH to bring me in a chow mein on his way home from work, and doesn't look like he's giving in :( Pah! Having a well deserved Bulmers now. Off to the Outlaws for a whole day tomorrow, fun. It's such a long journey and A just get's so tired and cranky. It's a bit miserable for us all, but it is nice to be cooked for and just relax and focus solely on A. xx
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • I've been watching national lampoons Christmas vacation with OH (and a hit chocolate laced with fake baileys ;))

Turtle maybe R is going through this fabled 7 month regression too? I'm sort of just trusting that he'll sort it out the same way he did his daytime naps ie went from being a nightmare to pretty reliable and self settling with no input from me. Probably wishful thinking!

Past my bedtime anyway, night all. Gilly hope you got your take away? Good luck with the in laws tomorrow x

Another one having sleep problems here. Theo used to sleep 12 hours straight but recently no matter what time I put him to bed he wakes around 5am and wants to get up! I've tried keeping him up later of an evening (doesn't always work as he's usually knackered by about 6pm), getting him to sleep more/less in the day, even woke him at 10pm last night to feed him as he'd missed a bottle in the day but no, 5am and here we go again. I wouldn't mind feeding him if he went back to sleep after but he just won't. He's lying in his cot at the moment watching his mobile and smiling and gurgling.

I shouldn't complain really as at least he does do a decent stretch of sleep but these early starts are killing me!

Oh and he seems much better and has obviously got over whatever was making him sick the other day.

Got him the Clevamama pillow for his flat head and it seems lovely and comfy. Trouble is, when I went in this morning he'd managed to wriggle right off it and was all scrunched up at the bottom of his cot!
