Okay, thanks for that. Might not bother then seeing as we've got a really nice expensive mattress at the moment. I'm supposed to be saving not spending but I keep finding more things I "need".

That's the pillow we're using for Erin's wonky head - I'm seeing a difference in how it's rounding out - but that could be the pillow, it could be her being increasingly mobile and less reluctant to stay on her tummy for more than a second, it could be her wriggling more in her cot on a night - think it's a combination of all of the factors.

She certainly sleeps better on it, and the other thing is that her bald spot where the hair's rubbed away is starting to grow back as well which I think shows some of the pressure's come off that area too (plus it means it's that lovely fuzzy peach texture again at the moment!).

Clearly Noah is more law abiding than George then sammie!

Well the lentil things are in the oven, the recipe makes LOADS so if youre not sure if LO will go for it I'd half it. George is going tobe eating it for weeks, whether he likes it or not :rotfl:

I've not really done anything with lentils before but I'm guessing by the smell of them that lentil nappies can't be good?

  • I do a lentil puree thing with carrots, celery, onion, cheese and sweet potato that doesn't have stinky nappies (it's broccoli that's evil on those particular grounds) as a side effect - and since it makes tonnes, she eats it a fair amount so I'd have noticed by now.

Well it went down a treat! I think he's finally getting to grips with actually swallowing food now, rather than chewing it up and then spitting it back out

Better go and wash up now, off to baby group in a bit.

Thanks for the nappy news dizzi, hopefully it won't be too horrific then!

Oh we just go for inhaling food as the fastest option! So far today she's hoovered a weetabix with warm milk (car heating bust and we both needed to warm up!) and a huge bowl of pasta with lots of veggies in... but when I decided to have a yoghurt without giving it to her... hell on!

Oh and we've scratched our face again overnight - that'll get complaints about spoiling grannies photos!

nutella Lol well I'm glad I have given you a shopping list for aldi! What size nappies are you on? We use 4s and they have a blue giraffe one, whereas the 3s had a yellow one. I'm excited to see what the 4+ have but he's not outgrown the 4s yet!

We're on size 4 too :) Clearly one giraffe - even though it's blue - can't beat the selection of animals that you get with Pampers (giraffe, elephant, tiger, parrot and zebra), but I'm prepared to accept that if they work for us, given the price...

Isn't it tempting to buy a pack of 4+ anyway just to check the animal situation - and then keep it until he's big enough for them?!... :o

I really need to get Noah a Christmas Day outfit but I'm stuck choosing between him being Santa or an elf!

I'd go for elf - I think they're cuter. Plus, by Christmas Day we're all tired of Santa. And he's a bit young for facial hair :o

Been meaning to ask if anyone's bringing up their babies Vegetarian? I can't decide what to do on that front - I'm veggie, OH is not, but I do all the cooking for LO and I can't face cooking meat or fish, plus I wouldn't be able to taste it to check the flavour/temperature. I've been thinking of just giving her the odd shop-bought pouch to at least get some fish into her (I'm not worried about meat - she can get all those nutrients from a Vegetarian diet) or stick to veggie food at home but let her have meat and fish at nursery. What to do, what to do... :o

Christmas Pudding outfit? I've seen those in a few shops.

I wasn't allowed to buy the pudding hat I wanted - have to make do with the rudolph one with antlers (and little paw pads on the matching mitts). Did nearly buy the "Silent Night - hah hah you'll be lucky" pyjamas this morning though!
