Is the B Smart smaller Eleyn? I always thought they looked big, but it's hard to tell when they're up I think.
I want a Cosatto Yo Ahoy pushchair, but I refuse to pay the price for it. I love my pram, still love it as much as the day I bought it but it is huge. I still want him parent facing though which dictates which pushchairs I could actually get, was looking at the Quinny Zapp Xtra too.The frontier is never somewhere else. What do you have atm gilly? I dont plan on buying a new one hopefully, but I do love looking at them all in mothercare etc....I am.already eyeing up what I would want for baby number2!
Know what you mean re parent facing, I love that on ours.
My sis has maclaren techno xt and she loves it, her boy is 2 and a half and has used it every day since 6mnths and it still looks fab. But they dont parent face which is a boo boo.
I should really sell our carrycot I suppose.

I have a Mamas and Papas Mylo in Black Jack and I adore it. It is tank like though, it does fold down with the seat unit on it. I'll be keeping it for number 2 I think, cost a small fortune
but if I decide I need a double, I'll probably get the Baby Jogger City Select, it is truly fabulous and can be converted to a single easily enough.

The lidl twixs are yummy, I had one today (get one every time I go in as a treat), and OH loves their snickers. Their version of Nutella is good too. Honestly I go there to get fruit and veg and come out with a trolley full of chocolate!
Don't forget that cocoa is a bean, so technically chocolate is a vegetable. Or at least it ought to be0 -
I like your thinking Nutella!
I looked at the zapp xtra on eBay when I bought my mc spin but they were still a bit too expensive. And when I've seen them in town they always seem a bit flimsy. I got the spin because you can have it facing either way but it takes up the entire boot so going to look for something a bit more lightweight. We're going on holiday not long after his 1st bday so want something by then to take with us. By then I reckon the nosey Parker will have had enough of facing me and want to see the world!Newborn thread member

Ooh, this is interesting. Theo is in a cotbed but I see they do mattresses for these too. I'll definitely think about getting one - they seem expensive but I don't care if it helps his little head. I think I'll make an appointment with our GP tomorrow too to see what he says about the flat head as I think it's got quite bad now.
Elelyn - I have the cotbed version but I don't like it like I did the Moses & crib versions sorry should have put that in my last post !!! It comes in sections so that you move the dip as the child grows but my issue with it is the foam is not as firm as I would like and now Scott moves around so much it meant the dip wasn't getting used lol might be better to investigate others suggestions re special pillows.0 -
 congratulations crabapple !!! Xx
(Obviously Apple juice not beer lol)0 -
Hope everyone ok
Loving the piccies soooo cute !!
Mozzy -love the car seat and pushchair !!
Still love the baby jogger city mini Can get it folded in the footwell behind the front seat and easy to pop wheels off too. Plus folding it is a so easy even the mil can do it ....0 -

If you ever go down that route- seriously try it out first - I found that with how the seats are on that one there's so much weight over the front wheels that getting up and down kerbs, or steering on sloped pavements (we live at the top of a very big hill and the pavements sure as heck ain't straight) would be nigh on impossible.
Went for the b-dual in the end (the double-version of the b-smart) - looks huge but it's because the seats get gap between them for height not lengthwise - been using it in single mode for a good couple of months now (double seat just hooks and slots into place) and it's nice to push - heavy but they all are.
Also have a hauck at my mum's that I really should get rid of, an iCandy upstairs I need to sell, and a cheapo umbrella stroller in the car... keep stalking gumtree for a cheapo umbrella fold double but no real luck as of yet.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Morning all
Hope everyone had a good night - we've been up since 5.30, but she slept all night (not even asking for the dummy!), so I'm actually feeling fine. She wolfed down her porridge (love how she rejects baby porridge but loves proper oats - given the choice between powder with banana flavour and proper oats with real fruit, I know what I would choose too!) and is now moving about on her playmat. She's become so much more mobile recently - she's not actually crawling, but she's all over the place anyway.
Must go rescue the curtain!0
