I'm not finding it too bad to be honest, I don't feel much heavier than I've been for quite a while so it's almost 'normal'; plus I always thought I'd go late and I never believed them when they moved me forward at the scan so I think I'm only 40+6 today. At the moment I feel normal aside from a huge bump0

I got Theo weighed today. He weighs 15lb 12ozs and he's only 13 weeks. I've had to start dressing him in size 6-9 months clothes because he's so big! And to think, he was a tiny little thing with these scrawny arms and legs when he was born. He's such a star though. Considering all the worrying and stressing I did in the early days he's doing brilliantly and I'm finally starting to really enjoy motherhood. He's been doing his best to try and roll over the last couple of days by pushing up on his feet and twisting but he hasn't quite worked out he needs to something with his arms yet. Bless him.0

Wow Elelyn, that's brilliant. Just last night I packed away the last of our 6-9's and brought out all the 9-12 and he's 10 months past, he was a good weight at birth too, shows how different they all are. Yay for feeling better though and enjoying it, I don't know when it clicked for me, just one day I remember not panicking and dreading the day ahead. It's such a good feeling :jThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Yay to the finger foods Nutella! I find myself just watching him eat at mealtimes, yesterday he ate the bit of toast that was sticking out of his fist but then just kept trying to put his whole hand in his mouth to get the rest!
My LO did something similar with her Organix carrot stick (brilliant finger food for nervous mothers!) - the bit that was left in her hand was very soggy by the end and almost completely disintegrated, but she kept holding on to it for dear life until I presented her with her water - then she dropped it on the floor and let me deal with it! She loves her water and gets excited when she sees it

Elelyn, so glad you're feeling happier about everything! And it only gets better as you can interact with them more and more
PS: I've been wondering where your giraffe avatar disappeared off to...? It was so cute!0 -
Hello all
Aiden did not go to bed til 850 tonight  I dont know why though!
Think we are going to drop his afternoon bottle. So he will just be on 2 bottles per dayhe just isnt fussed with it and definately doesnt want it at nursery as there is too much going on I think, he just doesnt want to be still with a bottle. Sad though, he definately isnt a little baby anymore!!
Put our tree up tonight. Aiden hasnt really been bothered though.
Hope you are all ok. Ill read back and catch up xxLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Hi sunshine
Maybe his late night means he'll have a lie in for you on your day off tomorrow?! Do you have anything nice planned?
Elelyn glad things have turned a corner for you! It's hard to believe in the first few weeks but it really does get better doesn't it?!
Nutella - I can tell when George has had enough of mealtimes as he just wipes everything off his tray on to the floor. He had rice tonight, took me forever to get it all off as he'd managed to spread it beyond the shower curtain splash mat I'd put down. Going to get some of the carrot sticks tomorrow, he's not had them yetNewborn thread member

Hi katie. We were going swimming but with his cough its not a good idea I dont think, plus the antibiotics give him some awful nappies! Dont want one of those in the pool!.
Is George sleeping any better for you? Aiden likes the carrot sticks too. OH had a couple last week in nero and he quite liked too! XLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Awww, he's doing the clearing up in his own special way!... Think I need to dig out the Poundland shower curtain I kept on my bed at the end of my pregnancy in case my waters broke (they didn't)...0 -
Sunshine, fingers crossed for a lie in tomorrow! I fear my LO will wake up terribly early - she went to bed at 5.30! She was so tired she was crying, she hadn't slept since 12.30 despite my best efforts - she just didn't want to nap for some reason... Just hoping she doesn't wake up at 4am or something - if that happens it'll be my turn to cry!0
