Orville-You're right, nobody knows what happened between you and her apart from the two of you!
The only ONE thing that i'd advise you to do is BEFORE you take the very next step of involving CSA,formal route (His very last resort was the court)-(Have been with my OH for nearly 9 years now and we went through hell and back when he decided to make it formal with his ex-wife and even though HE won the court battle, it came at a cost where his kids treated him differently because to them,he abandoned them!-mind you, this was not his doing ,he was advised by the court not to see his kids until it was done and it took him nearly 7 months to get sorted).
Maybe, just maybe, she forgot to ask the kids to phone you,OR,maybe she asked the kids to phone you and with the excitement of christmas, they didnt phone you.My OH always phones his kids whenever they're not with us on any special days (we tend to swap christmases and other holidays each year).
I could be wrong here (i do genuinely apologise if i am) but ,judging from your previous posts, this is your first year without the kids-my OH was the same with his outbursts because he missed them terribly and his emotions were everywhere at the time.Sometimes when we're angry,we do crazy things/moves-dealing with the formal route when you're angry will only hurt the kids in the end. Please take a few days and let it settle first,if after a few days and you're still feeling the same way, then decide then.
By the way,the guys on this forum are just giving you their opinion and its upto you whether you take it on board or not-please,no need to throw fireballs at anyone who utters their opinion.
Well done for being a great dad
All the best..0
