After the required 12 hr charge it's dead as a dodo! No reply to tel no for bodini or emails and groupon care not a jot saying I have my car so they are not interested. Despite the fact the car is supposed to actually move, steer drive, turn on......!!!!
I'm so with you! Exactly the same problems made more annoying by the fact that I also got an email from Bodini prior to that offering the same porsche but £18 cheaper!! Hey.....if you're going to buy something that won't work then you may as well pay less!!
Does anyone know anything about safe purchasing online/credit cards since it - appears so far - as if Groupon and Bodini aren't interested??

Anyone been able to get in contact with Bodini? My Brother had the same problem with Gadget Wizzard, not being able to complete his order of an Audi TT and has ended up with what is supposed to be a Ferrari from Bodini, although to me it looks like a Mazda MX5. The car turned up late and upon assembly we discovered a large crack along the back quarter of the car and it covered in scratches(being in black, shows every mark) with the stickers hanging off. To top it off the remote control doesn't work either!!!
He has tried both telephone no.s in this thread, but Bodini are not answering. Be grateful if anyone could post how indeed to contact these rip off merchants, as he wants a refund and an apology for his daughters ruined Christmas Present.0 -
Hi All,
Disappointed? Check out Consumer Rights at the top of this page. I followed the advice given. I got the Audi TT I ordered for my grandaughter just in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, I didn't get the mattress I ordered through Matching Bedrooms. I sent my letters of intended legal action to Matching Bedrooms and Groupon yesterday. They have 2 weeks to meet my claim. If not, I'll sue them through the small claims.
Take action now if you didn't get what you paid for.0 -
Has anyone received a refund of the original P&P of £16.50 from Gadget Wizard? I have tried emailing but I've not had any replies and can't find an address or telephone number. Groupon are not interested (have emailed again today). I've tried my credit card company and paypal and no one can help me get my money back.
Any suggestions on where I go now?0 -

No I haven't either! And actually with a previous Groupon problem relating to printerpix they promised to refund the money but never did!Quit Smoking 12 years 2 months.0 -
Oh I hate groupon so much and will be never using it again! I'm still waiting on a beanbag armchair ordered from bodini. This is the second purchase I have had a problem with (through groupon vouchers). The other is a large beanbag from infurn, but at least they have bothered to reply telling me its delayed due to the popularity of the offer on groupon. I have tried to phone and email bodini, but no reply. So I am still waiting on 2 xmas presents!! On bodini's website it states my order's status as complete.0

The best way to deal with Groupon is by phone - but they seem to have taken the number off the website. I have it somewhere - if I can find it I'll post it. They do refund without argument if you ask - but won't give you back the P&P (though I am arguing the toss with them since, as far as I'm concerned, when they email me offers they bring these disreputable organisations into my home). I'm still waiting for a refund from OSpa for a purchase on July 1st last year. The Groupon bit was refunded but the add ons and P&P wasn't. The advice I've had is to send a letter by recorded delivery, as Pleasurebear suggests. The biggest disappointment for me is that it appears that, despite a whole load of consumer protection legislation, there is no organisation which will enforce the law - you're left to do it yourself. Sadly also it looks like although technology makes it easy for us to shop widely and well it also provides a hit and run opportunity for the wide boys, with Groupon unfortunately (and probably inadvertently) providing an ostensibly respectable front for them.0

I may have a different number on my email at work - will check tomorrow!0 -
These sound like typical problems with Groupon deals as I have also had. If you paid by credit card the best way is to go back to the card company and ask them to institute a chargeback.0

I ordered ice grips on 14th Dec, still says processing.
Have sent a few contact forms and tried to contact Bodini on several occasions with no avail. So i called Groupon and explained about my circumstance and peoples on here. She seemed to know about the xmas tree issues. She is going to contact them to track my order.
I also explained that it doesnt look good on Groupon if many customers are having problems with this company, yet they STILL sell vouchers for them.
Will let you know my outcome.Oxfordmark
