Groupon/Bodini not delivering/Groupon

After trying numerous times to get a hold of someone from Bodini I gave up, they dont answer emails or calls, Groupon have credited my account now but I really did need the Ice grips so was pretty gutted. I certainly will be more wary of any Bodini offers now, actually I wont take the chance again. Hope everyone gets satisfaction, email Groupon and let them know though

i am also waiting for my refund for the postage from gadget wizard. think i can wave good bye to that. nice little scam they had there and convieniently after the 45 days pay pal limit.

but to those that recieved the car and it wont work i also had the same problem. it is just the battery isnt connected. once that was done my lo happily drove around in it driving me crazy with the music.

Wish I'd read all these posts before ordering my ice-grips on 14th DEC!!

I've emailed Groupon and Bodini many many times and have received no response. Basically these two companies are total scammers in my eyes, disgraceful. Shouldn't trading standards be investigating why so many people have ordered goods that haven't arrived?

Can anyone help/give advice as to how I can recover both my postage and item cost from them. I've put a dispute on paypal too.

I've just flooded Groupon's fb wall slating them and surprise surprise, I received an email within seconds. Apparently they're 'processing' my order. I want a refund now so will keep bugging them until I get my money back!

Yet another who ordered ice shoes, will I ever see them? Wish I had looked into this before I jumped once again. Also got an issue with a car valeting voucher with jcm, Bristol which I got through Groupon, I cant get hold of the company despite numerous e-mails. Think I should ditch Groupon!

Well it just goes to show you, being nice with Groupon just doesn't work. I must have sent them 20 emails regarding my order, they completely ignored all of them.

Today I put several extremely negative posts on their fb wall, lo and behold, less than 3 hours later I have been refunded!

My next battle is to get the postage refunded so we'll see how quickly they do that.

My advice if you want your money back, post your negative comments on their fb wall - they remove them quickly but keep doing it as they don't want people ranting on their page and will deal with your request fast to keep you quiet.

Got to say Groupon were great with the refund for the voucher but they really have to help their customers with companies they are associated with and pretty much recommend as safe choices!!


I feel like starting up a company or three and telling groupon that I can supply over 3000 cars and then charge each one p&p then inform groupon I can't manage to supply but refer them to another company charge p&p then supply some before doing it again and finally not refunding a penny

I agree with your suggested 'business proposition' to Groupon - the 4-6 week delivery quoted takes it outside of paypals 45 day dispute limit but even that aside, I now find P&P is not covered by paypal disputes anyway AND because it is below a certain limit (£100 I think) your credit card company won't help either - very very clear scam - Oops I mean 'business proposition'!

I've tried to get a hold of Gadget Wizard - no luck and Groupon just fob you off with, "Huge demand.....refunds taking time....company can only do so many a day (I worked in retail for 16 years and never heard of this).

Think my next step is Ann Robinson!

Too good to be true, Bodini said the order would be here on Tuesday (17th Jan). Still no sign.

I called Groupon and asked for a refund of the voucher and the delivery charge. Will see what happens in 14 days.

i ve just had a reply from groupon about the ride on car postage refund and it says ther have applied for a refund for the voucher of £99 and i should have it in 14 days. *head butts wall* now do i stay stum or point out their mistake.

strange, I got the ice grips on Tuesday/Wednesday, so they are sending some out.
