  • I have ordered ice grips but received no confirmation email - they do say on the web site it might take up to 4 weeks so will keep posted.
On a related matter..this voucher had a13 day expiry time...is there not a greater cool down period required?
  • Hi there , I'm the same as you rebel, got an email on exactly the same day saying i had been refunded... guess what it never happened :(

Groupon are so called trying to look in to the matter but have asked for 21 days or so to do this.

After all this I also then got duped into £26 charge for delivery from Bodini but have not even got any car at all from these people, but reading the post about the quality of them on these pages i'm kinda glad i didn't, i just want all my postage money back ...total of £44...am fuming .

Anybody with any helpfull numbers or action please get in touch
  • I eventually got a refund for the Christmas tree from Group on after several emails. At one point they saud that the goods still might arrive in a couple fo weeks - Sometime in January! My final email to Group on was to tell them I was going to get in touch with one of the consumer programmes on tv: that was the day I received an email saying that they would refund me the money for the tree but not the delivery charge. I would have to contact Bodini for that. I must say that I have had some great offers from Group on and will still look on their site but like so many on here it has left a bitter taste in my mouth trying to get my money back! Needless to say I will avoid Bodini at all costs in the future!

Did you write that for me?
Bodini still owe me £7.99 postage and I slated Groupon on fb for letting Bodini do another offer they cant fulfil!
I think the only place Groupon reply is fb!
  • I also have the same problem with the cancelled orders from Gadget Wizard & Bodini. I'm owed the post charges from both companies and Groupon are seriously not interested in my plea. I have an email back from Grpupon asking me to prove that I'd actually placed the orders in the first place and prove that I'd paid the P&P charges. It would appear that I can't log in to my account on either Gadget Wizard or Bodini but luckily I'd saved the emails.
Anyway Groupon sent me a standard reply saying they've been assured all charges will be refunded. Considering I paid for the first order in October I can't say I'm optimistic about getting the money back!
I'm just really annoyed that I was messed around so much, not received the car I'd wanted for Christmas but am also out of pocket for the priviledge & GROUPON DO NOT CARE AT ALL!
I've opened a dispute in my pay pal account as someone suggested on here but that is about to close so i'm out of options.

If anyone has any success with getting charges back I'd really like to know what to do.
  • Has anyone received a refund of the original P&P of £16.50 from Gadget Wizard? I have tried emailing but I've not had any replies and can't find an address or telephone number. Groupon are not interested (have emailed again today). I've tried my credit card company and paypal and no one can help me get my money back.

Any suggestions on where I go now?

No I'm in the same boat as you, I'm owed 2 lots of postage charges. Groupon replied to me this week saying they have been reassured by their partner all charges are being refunded!!

I'm another in the same boat, I've just email again for the numerous time asking for a refund. This time I've copied all the email addresses I have for gadget wizard and groupon (I've a dispute escalated with paypal so hopefully I'll find out on Thurs that they will cancel and refund the transaction).

Anyone got any ideas what we should do next?

Got to say Groupon were great with the refund for the voucher but they really have to help their customers with companies they are associated with and pretty much recommend as safe choices!!

I feel like starting up a company or three and telling groupon that I can supply over 3000 cars and then charge each one p&p then inform groupon I can't manage to supply but refer them to another company charge p&p then supply some before doing it again and finally not refunding a penny
