Has anyone else had a problem with ordering the xmas tree from Bodini via Groupon.
It was a £79 xmas tree for a groupon price of £8 and was supposed to be delivered in 2-4 weeks from 26 October.
I have e-mailed Bodini twice and been ignored and when I ring the number on their website, the call gets transferred to a different number altogether, plus a recorded message says the mailbox is full and so you can't leave a message either.
I'm stumped - any advice on what I can do now?

Hi,
Did you ever receive your tree?
I've been trying to contact them for the past couple of days regarding a car that I have ordered for my son but just getting the same as you on the tel number sp I've emailed them but not holding my breath for a reply!!0 -
I've had the same problem I ordered my tree on the 27th October and still not here. It's pointless emailing I've done it over and over with no reply. I even tried other emails for a diffrent website owned by same company with no luck. I managed to get hold of them by phone but took 28 times before i finally spoke to someone. The best time to phone is around 10 am you need to keep trying over and over again not very professional. Long story short 3 weeks ago I was told tree was sent, I called up again 2 weeks ago to be told tree is on way will get tracking number soon, last week was told tree wasn't sent when I was told but is sent now and I will get it in few days or get tracking number I told them how out of order it is. Was told to call back on Friday 9th if I've not received tree. Gonna ask for a refund as it is beyond a joke only 2 weeks till Christmas and my trees been on way for 3 weeks considering it only took my friend 5 days to send me stuff from Korea. Site seems to be getting a bad reputation for itself0

They probably had such a large influx of new customers and cant cope. There has been a lot of bad publicity lately on Groupons sales tactics they are also being investigated by ASA0

Hi,
I have also been waiting since 25th October for tree. Web site shows 'processing'. Like you, I have tried calling the company but it is diverted to a mobile voicemail and you can't leave a message.
I have contacted groupon customer services 020 351 004 10 and they will give the company 5 days to respond and advise of delivery date or process refund. I will wait and see !!

I finally received my tree today, 5 weeks after ordering and cannot believe the poor quality of the tree i've received. Opened the box, took a look and closed it again. Could see from the quick glance it is no way near worth the rrp of £80 or what I paid.
Will try to call Bodini tomorrow but from what I've read here not hopeful of getting my money back0 -
I recieved my Tree last week after a 5 week delay only to find out that it was damaged and definately not worth £80, like everyone else i couldnt get hold of Bodini and they havent replied to my emails, Groupon was no help either as they have obviously been recieving a lot of complaints about them and were pretty much like its not our problem, anyway i contacted the national consumer advice (their number is on the trading standards website) who have also been receiving complaints from others about Bodini as they knew all about it and their advice was to write bodini a letter (their address to their parent company is on their terms and conditions page at the top) and have it sent by recorded delivery so that you have proof that you have been in conact with them and if they dont reply within 14 days then to contact consumer advice again as i guess that they will then be investigated or taken to the small claims court. i was told to use one of the drafts that they have on the directgov site and to be polite in my letter, which was a struggle but i think i managed it.
Not sure how things will work out but needless to say i will definately be thinking twice before i get a so called 'bargain' from groupon again as they obviously dont check the companies that they work with.0 -
It looks like lots of us are still waiting
Groupon customer services gave me another number to try for bodini
02031952657...........I tried it's engaged constantly.

I ordered my tree on 17th November and luckily it arrived on the 4th December... Lucky???? It is a pathetic skinny thing from Tesco. To add insult to injury it is a Tesco box with a price of £25 on it. Not exactly the £79 Deluxe tree I excitedly expected.... I have looked on ebay and you can get the same tree for 11.99 incl p&p!!!! Like everyone else, I have tried to contact Bodini on 0203 195 2657 which is constantly engaged or 020 7717 54000 which directs you to a voice mail. Obviously I've had no reply to my 4 e mails. I've contacted Groupon and they have told go to the Bodini site and request a return. They say that once Bodini have arranged to pick the tree up, I will get a full refund. Lets say I expect a long wait. DUPED I think the word is!!!!!!0

Well guys my tree arrived in a very small box for a 6ft deluxe norweigan pine!! In fact it reads Kingfisher Festive Christmas Tree 6ft green on the box - something I saw in Robert Dyas yesterday for £14.00. I too have tried to email Bodini and Groupon and you guessed it nobody wants to know what a complete and utter rip off. I have done 3 deals through Groupon now and only 1 successfully won't be wasting my money in future!! Will let you know if I ever get this sorted. Good job I haven't got rid of my old tree.0

I'm also feeling very narked with Bodini/groupon. I ordered a games table, was told it'd be despatched by the 6th Dec and haven't heard anything since. The customer services no. just goes onto answer phone and the main no. on their website just tells you to hang up after ringing for a while and getting your hopes up! Rang groupon who suggested emailing Bodini as they were snowed under with new deal they'd taken on. Will see what happens (but not hold my breath!)0
