Groupon/Bodini not delivering/Groupon

After reading these I have a feeling my 3 year old little boy is not gonna have his main Xmas present. I ordered an Audi TT sit and ride car on the 21st October as it said it takes 8-10 weeks for delivery. Then last monday I received an email telling me that the company 'gadget wizard' could no longer withstand the order but had found another company who could 'bodini' so I placed the order through them and I now have everything crossed that it arrives before Christmas!

I also ordered a children's balance bike also with Bodini and after numerous attempts to use the Groupon voucher it just wouldn't let me, after 5 phone calls to Groupon, voucher reset the voucher mysteriously became invalid and the money returned into my account when I rang and asked why, I was told must be my bank asking for the money back??? The money went out of my account into Groupon's a whole week before?!

I have never had anything straight forward with Groupon and I've always had to ring them to Jee them up!!

Once this car arrives, I am deleting the app off my phone!

Groupon never replied to my request for a refund for another deal, They then reply 10 days later when I open a paypal dispute I ignored this email and got most of my money back.

Following numerous emails to groupon and bodini i today have had an email from groupon stating my £69.00 for the 10-1 sports table has been refunded. However i have to contact bodini for the p&p to be refunded. Well played Groupon but i have however emailed them back demanding they refund the p&p as bodini never reply to any emails. I hope they listen and i hope everyone else get refunds etc. Keep emailing them, leave messages on their facebook page as they do listen.

Alas, I wish I had looked on here before trying to buy this table! Same as most folks on this - deal on the 21/11/11 with groupon. Email from Bodini saying that it would be dispatched on or before 6/12/11 - in time for chrimbo for my 5 and 7 year old lads - but nothing else...

However I did have a glimmer of hope - I spoke to Camilla on Wednesday 14th Dec around midday who assured me the tables were to be dispatched Monday!!!! Oh Camilla you fibber!! Lots of trying to call and emails later without reply I fear that the odds are more than 10 to 1 against a delivery! Having read the threads about the chrimbo trees, I'm not sure whether the quality is going ti be that great even if it arrives. I'm going to contact trading standards and if no joy try and get my cash back via my credit card company.

This was our lads main pressie so a trifle upset to say the least. As for Groupon they are just as bad with being able to contact.

So, today I rang Groupon to find out if the audi tt sit and ride car was going to be here before Christmas and guess what, she asked what colour I ordered and I told her originally red but due to having to order it again through bodini I had to have black, so she told me estimated dispatch date was 26th dec for black, they're doing them in colour order!!!!!!! BRILLIANT! No main present for my 3 year old, explain that mr Santa Claus! I ordered the thing on 20 OCTOBER!

I bought Groupon vouchers for the ride-on car from from Gadjet Wizard, advertised as an ideal Christmas gift. I followed Groupon's invitation of 06 December to switch to Bodini and get the car in time for Christmas. I'm following the advice given on MSE. I sent "time is the essence letters" to both companies on 08 December giving them until today to confirm the car would be delivered by 22 December. They haven't replied. So, I've bought a similar car and I'm claiming the cost of the replacement, the delivery charges I paid and my time and expenses trying to get a response from them. I've given them until 03 January to pay up. If they don't, I'll add a sum for breach of contract and given them another 10 days to pay. If they don't, I'll issue a summon through the small claims. I suggest others do the same.

I too bought the groupon voucher for the 10 in 1 games table from Bodini. After purchase from Bodini I recieved an e-mail confirming the purchase and delivery "on or before 6 Dec". On 14 Dec I managed to get through to Natasha at Bodini (020 7717 5400) although it took 4 days of constant calling. Natash garunteed that the table would be despatched by Mon 19 at the very latest and that they were using a 24 hour courier to clear a backlog. She also said that I would recieve an email with the tracking number for the courier. This was clearly hoop as i have recieved no emails and the table has not been despatched. Groupon have replied to my request for a refund due to breach of delivery contract 3 times with "please bare with Bodini you sould recieve the table in 2-3 weeks"

As neither groupon or bodini are taking my requests seriously for a refund and clearly think that it is legal and just that a garunteed despatch date of 6 Dec can be breached by over a month i wish to get some advice from anyone who has managed to recieve a refund or is persuing/has experience with the small claims court.

I've just phoned Groupon and managed to get a refund of the voucher amount anyway. Now, just need to get a refund on postage which I'm trying to get through Paypal. Worth trying this approach as Groupon were actually OK about it.

I am in this pickle with Groupon/Bodini too. I just want to let you know, I received a mail this morning from a tracking company to say that my games table was 'out for delivery'. Fingers crossed people!
