  • By the way, the car is a pink Audi TT.
  • Hi, my car finally arrived last night. After te required 12 hr charge it's dead as a dodo! No reply to tel no for bodini or emails and groupon care not a jot saying I have my car so they are not interested. Despite the fact the car is supposed to actually move, steer drive, turn on......!!!!
  • Anyone who paid the £16.50 delivery charge to Gadgetwizard had it back? I got an email from Steve Davidson on 12 December saying "You have been fully refunded your delivery payment by ourselves". To date, nothing.
  • Bodini have delivered the Audi TT ride-on car and this morning I got the number plates in the post.

I just need a remote control that works!
  • Just like to start with a BIG THANK YOU for all of the above companies SPOILING our 4 year old twins Christmas!

I, Like many others, ordered 2 cars from groupon on the 21st October they quoted 6 - 8 weeks delivery -Just right to get it delivered to my work address ( I broke up on 21st Dec exactly 8 weeks!)

Then it was transfered to Bodini with a before Christmas delivery pr omise. Then got an email giving some excuse why they couldn't deliver the car I wanted and to order an alternative by the 19th December for xmas delivery. I re-ordered but they gave no option to change delivery address. I sent an email with the new delivey address to Bodini, cause I couldn't get through on the phone. No-one replied so I thought I would try Groupon. I must say they are all very nice to speak to and sound concerned but you get No answers or call backs.

All I needed to do was tell somebody to change the delivery address but - as a groupon advisor told me ' BODINI are too busy to answer the phones as they are tryng to fulfill the orders'

IF BODINI COULDN'T COPE WITH THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS, THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE DEAL ON!! THEY JUST SEE THE ££££ NOT THE STRESS OR UPSET THEY ARE CAUSING.

I have asked for a full refund which I have got. Ironically I got the only call back I have had from Groupon just after, saying that they have contacted bodini and changed the delivery address, too late for xmas but you never know I might get the cars and the refund - I think I deserve that after all the stress!!!!

(sorry to rant but I am livid)
  • I have got the remote control unit working ok now. The battery terminals needed cleaning.
  • Just to say that that having received the table did n't have chance to check it until xmas eve - usual palava putting it up - mostly my fault but my two kids have been impressed with it - caused a few arguments but hey that's what games are for! Bodini get your communication right and you may have some happy customers. Apologies for calling you fibbers!! Hope everyone else who ordered one of these got one and its OK.
    ...and a game of pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I got my "luxury" tree from Bodini - late, and following two ignored requests for a refund once the contracted delivery date had passed. Instead of the 6ft wonder in the picture I got a 5ft baldy stick - I think it was old Woolworth's stock. I shouldn't have been surprised though: when ordering I was invited to upgrade to a "tree with lights" for £15.99. Like a total eejit I thought I would be getting a prelit tree, but it became apparent as the order went through I was getting a box of lights for £15.99. The same box was on their website for £9.99. When I enquired about this discrepancy in cost they sent an email back to "confirm all our lights are £15.99". And when I looked again at the website, hey presto, the £9.99 tag was gone. I had, however, saved the page and sent it back to them. Result? No reply. Although there is a possible case for them being overwhelmed by the numbers ordering through Groupon I don't subscribe to it - they can limit the numbers to what they can handle - it looks more like their greed outstripped their capacity. And the lights business was fundamentally dishonest. I got a refund of the initial £25 from Groupon but nothing from Bodini for P&P or the marvellous illuminations. To be fair, I did get a piece of red tinsel free. So that's alright then.
  • my tree never came in the end. what can I do?

    Hello!

I am having similar Groupon/Bodini bother.

I purchased a pink audi tt sit in car for our god-daughter for £99 with a sizeable amount of postage on top.

I then received an email from Groupon a few weeks later telling me that they had had a problem with the original supplier but had made a new arrangement with a new supplier - Bodini. It was no longer a pink audi tt but for a silver porsche with the option of personalised number plates for extra money. This was a short lived offer of the transfer of the £99 Groupon voucher and you had I think 6 or 7 days to make the transition. I quickly opted into this deal and paid extra for the personalised number plate as well as now paying a FURTHER amount of postage for the new company.

As I was then on Bodinis emailing list you can imagine my surprise when a week later I got a promotional email from Bodini offering a "childs silver sit in porsche" exactly the same as I had purchased through Groupon/Bodini but for only £81 instead of the £99 I'd paid through Groupon. I took delivery of the porsche but emailed Groupon indicating my displeasure that as a Groupon customer I had been swizzeled by them. No response!

Christmas Eve we gave our God-daughter her car which she loved. Overnight her father charged up the car only to find out that the next day it would only work (lights, engine sounds, radio, movement) if still connected to the main power supply as it doesn't appear to hold the charge in the cars main battery area. Obviously this renders the whole toy obsolete as it can't move further than the electric supply cable will allow which is a few inches back and forth.
Despite this, my friends have tried to charge this car up several additional times incase they had done anything wrong but sadly not.

I have emailed Bodini but nothing. I have tried calling but never get through as it is constantly engaged. Groupon haven't bothered replying either! To surmise I have paid two lots of postage. once for a non existent car and a second time for one that doesn't work! I have paid groupon £99 for a car I could have purchased directly from bodini for £18 less! Neither company appear to have any degree of interest in their customers!

Anyone else fall foul of this?
