askimid isnt accurate.. it takes upto 14 days for a policy to appear on the mid
re the tax disc.. whos to say the car owner has applied over the phone/internet for his disc and is currently waiting for it?
1: You are right, askMid does not show every circumstance, and it takes some time to update - but I would have thought in the last three months the car would have shown some insurance
2: The old 'tax is in the post' thing - yeah, I get it. But for three months????
It's like I said in a previous post - the next time I see it in my street I'll call the Police and let them decide

you didnt make the tax expoiry clear lol..
as for the insurance youd be suprised.. swinton didnt put my policy on the mid for 8 months even tho i was paying for my insurance.. and even then it took a snotty letter threatening to sue em for every time the police stopped me to get their !!! into gear..Sealed pot challenger # 10

I do apologise, I used these silly things called 'words' in a sentence. I appreciate that for some people with poor English, eg: [expoiry|youd|suprised|swinton|didnt|| tho|i|em] would miss that and would require me to draw them a large pictureyou didnt make the tax expoiry clear lol..
I hate to be the spelling and grammar Policeman as mine is nothing special, but I'd take a guess that if you wrote them a letter in English like that, laughter would be the most likely outcome in the Swinton Offices. :rotfl::rotfl:as for the insurance youd be suprised.. swinton didnt put my policy on the mid for 8 months even tho i was paying for my insurance.. and even then it took a snotty letter threatening to sue em for every time the police stopped me to get their !!! into gear..0 -

Nope, don't think so. They may smell, their car may be beaten up and illegal - but they can read and write without difficulty:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Such eloquent use of language, and nice to see that 'troll' word come in (yawn). Like I say, if you don't like what I say just ignore it! Good luck with the job hunting, and Merry Christmas

What do you mean they threw it at the house?
Exactly what I said there. I was walking up from just a little distance away from the house, perhaps 10m from him. He drew up to the house, opened his window, held the package out, threw it (probably aiming for the door), it hit the house wall about 2ft up and then hit the floor. I challenged him but he just drove off, before I could even throw the package back through his window! He didn't even get out. I wouldn't have beleived it if I hadn't seen it.
I don't have a gripe with couriers in general. We miss them, they redeliver. They leave stuff out of sight in the shed, fine. Someone's about, we sign for it. It's the bad ones I have a problem with. There was a Polish chap working for Parcel force for a short while (was fired very quickly!) and I used to watch him deliver to us daily, and when looking for the right pakcage he'd launch any that weren't the right one at the bulkhead of the van, with force. Naturally everything he seemed to deliver was damaged! Heremes just seem to have a very good record for losing/delaying (3 weeks!)/damaging items. It all hangs on the driver in your area, having seen the attitude of mine I don't think we have a top quality one. I don't expect them to deliver at exact times only when I'm in, but I would like the item in one piece!0 -

So, you committed a criminal offence, just for the idle curiosity of wondering whether your local courier has insurance on his car?The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
