Is the '3' £17.50 18 month contract the best deal?

I dont really think that's much of a deal considering you get Quidco cashback of £100 anyway when you open a contract making the monthly cost around £10.50 PLUS you get the phone.
I would haggle them even more!0 -
How could I haggle? Should I tell them about the quidco thing?
I didnt want to lose my number though at the moment thats why but a family member is going to do the quidco deal and use me for referal anyway but I want to keeop my numberThanx

Im not sure what they would say if you mention the quidco thing, but I would if I was in your situation and tell them you get what they are offering anyway plus a phone PLUS £5 spending money!
Tell them to beat that! Either lower the price or give a handset at the very least because they're offering you what is available to everyone in effect (considering you go through Quidco and get your cashback!).
Hope that helped! They should beat it..to them you a important asset and ive seen them offer similar tarrifts at a few quid a month!!0 -
Well its worth a try but I just wondered if they may only have certain offers to stick to and cant change that. I'll try anyway
Only thing is though that if I said that its like telling them I'd still be a customer anyway so they wouldnt be losing me... if I had a different company to quote it may work betterThanx

But they get commission through you extending your contract which they don't get if you use Quidco to set yourself up as a new customer.
Btw don't forget to mention the £30 recommend a friend credit which you will also receive if you sign up from fresh (I believe that applies to existing customers, not sure).0 -
I did speak to the options team as they put it which I think is same as retentions and I did ask if I should ask for that person if I decided to ring back and take the deal and the man said no its ok you can speak to anyone so I don't know if they really are on commision in thay department thats happened twice they dont seem to be too bothered if they take the renewalThanx

I rang back and they have taken off the offer they gave me. From 12 months on k610i they have now said its only 5 months half price, everything has gone down. I asked him if I went to 18 months what difference would it be and he said only 8 months half price. I told him I could get the offer through quidco and he said then do that then they have nothing to do with whats on the internet. Usually the people there are very polite and help full but the wasnt nice at all. Tried again and was told the same that the retentions offers had changed from last night it seems.
I only have my packcode so if I want to leave I have to put in a new cancellations 30 day notice should I do this? if I do and I find a better deal elsewhere before the 30 days can I then ask for a packcode from them?
Will the quidco thing still be on? and is it definitely still £100+£30?Thanx

Where does the £30 go?Thanx

The half price for 18 month handsts are:
sony k610i
nokia 6233r
lg u300
which is best?Thanx

Hi, your £30 is credited to your bill.
Quidco gives £100 for all contracts apart from the new **Video Talk 500** tariff which pays £70.
In terms of handsets, I got the Nokia 6233r and it is fine.
