Is the '3' £17.50 18 month contract the best deal?

Considering there is no cashback, is this the best deal for me?

I'll get £100 via Quidco + £30 if reccomended by someone (still looking for that person). It equals around £10-£11 per month for 750mins + 150 texts or was it 200 texts? I dont need the texts but overall thats a good deal considering I'de easily spend £10 on top-up every month with less minutes.

I would only use this contract during peak hours as I have a o2 contract which gives me unlimited x net minutes between 7pm-7am and weekends.

What do you lot think, I'm learning this stuff day by day, any help, tips or reccomendations of other tarrifs would be highly appreciated!

Thanks,

  • Thanks guys, sounds like a good idea. I might give it a try myself!

However, I have just been on the three website and can't see any decent phones which are £17.50 for the full 18 months. Any ideas?

This sounds like an excellent deal. I may go for it myself. Is '3' coverage generally pretty good? (including going abroad).

I'm also also a little wary about the £35 per month thereafter stipulation. Is this obligatory, or can I cancel after the 18 months are up?

EDIT: I've just seen the 'Sticky' thread discussing '3'
    I don't think I'll bother lol
Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realise we cannot eat money

there much better than when I left them 2 1/2 years ago, order through the business site ( make up a business name- self employed ;0) ) for UK customer care

    http://three.co.uk/business/price_plans.omp

2/3 down click on the " See business eligible consumer price plans " link ;)

Ok. They got a great deal but I've also just had a brief look at the '3' sticky thread and it seems as though their reception/signal isnt very good.

I live in Central London, surely signal there has to be good? There arent any other bad points are there? I had a '3' contract phone for 2-3 months (borrowed), signal wasnt a problem at all.

Is it just certain areas? Ill be using this phone in London at all times, so, as long as reception is good in my area I think I'll take it.

you won't have any probs in central london

In fact where I used to work (near bristol) 3 was the only network that could get a signal. I could walk all round the building chatting away. All the other networks only worked outside, and accross the street, or in little micro pockets within the building that were about 1 metre square!
  • Anyplace on the WWW we can go to see where three reception is good/average/awful?
