Is the '3' £17.50 18 month contract the best deal?

I've just signed up but as I wanted a n73 I was only able to get the 8 months half price and £100 quidco (tracked within a couple of hours).
Main reason I wanted the n73 is that for an extra £5 per month you get unlimited(ish) email access (I'm using gmail), msn, skype, ebay, mobicast (podcasts) and some yahoo stuff that I've not quite got to grips with.
So far reception (south soms) has been top notch on the 3G network the whole time. I also had to phone the cust services about a missing wrist strap and got a no-hassle £5 credit towards the cost of a case.
Cheers
Jeff
PS - If anyone gets a n73, you can get a 2GB mini sd card at crucial for £16ish with 7% quidco - bargainSpace for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0 -
Looks like I'm getting the £17.50 deal via Quidco and the reccomend a friend 'thingy'. Which brings down the total monthly price over 18 months to £10-£11 p/m.
Also, getting the Nokia 6233 phone...best one their IMO as I dont like flip phones and already got a SE K750i.
Thanks for the help, MSE.com is just great, dunno what I would've done with it:money: .

I got a Nokia N80 on the £22.50 deal.. 600mins and 400 texts.. Went through quidco and recommend a friend thing bringing the monthly cost down to around £15.50..
I don't receive 3g at home but I'm getting good signal on the 2g carrier.. I don't know which one three are using o2 or orange but I'll be happy if it stays as is is. Was on vodafone and the service was rubbish out in the sticks of Wales.. I had been watching the refurb deals for a while and was hoping the k800i was going to come on the 18 month half price deal but I can't complain to much about the N80 so far except for it's very poor battery life..:)sometimes you're the pigeon, sometimes you're the statue!0 -
If you read the small print on the refer page it says offer is only available until 31st, technically I got a day left. Going to do it later on today anyways, after I wake up.
What do you think the new offer is going to be when you refer someone? I just hope its not something like £40 or a better deal than the one I'm taking up as this bad luck thing always happens with me.
One more thing! Does the person who refers me has to be on contract or can he/she be on PAYG as well? I got loads of friends who are on PAYG.
Thanks,

I would imagine so; how do quidco know who is actually buying the phone?0 -

Could these phones have the SIMs glued-in? I am interested in the Nokia 6233r but don't want it if I can only use my 'three' sim in it! Anyone had one of these and can comment?0
