Does anyone now if the late payment charges of £10 made by NTL is legal, ?
I don't remember anything in my contract regarding this when I signed on for thier Phone and tv services in March 2001. Also, is it legal to charge me £5.00 per month, if I don't pay by direct debit?0 -
Right, I've just checked with customer services (on a free number, obviously;) ) and it's definitely not a cashback basis. Also, there is no clause tying you to the £35 per month after 18 months. One other point to bear in mind is that the phone is a refurbished one, but it should last 18 months! All I need now is a 'friend' to refer me..........anybody know the appropriate place to post a request?Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realise we cannot eat money0 -
Hubby and I did this. I went through Quidco, hubby recommended me, so two lots of money back! Brill.
My plan wasn't as good as this, though. Still a great deal. I'm very happy with 3. I've been with them for 3 years."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
I see that the refer a friend offer is finishing tomorow! What do you think the new offer would be, if any? What was their rewerd before the £30 one? I would be gutted if it is something better than this.
EDIT: Oh, another thing! Say you finish your minutes by the end of the month, would the extra charges be deducted off your £30 credit? e.g. say my bill was £20, will I have £10 left or be charged fully?

Just ordered my contract.
The 750mins with 150 texts, 18 months contract and 18 months @ £17.50. Got the Nokia 6233.
Cant wait, went through Quidco and used a 3 number. By the way the persons number I used may get cut off as they are porting their existing number on to the number I used for the refer a friend scheme.
Would it still work?0 -

I'll get £100 via Quidco + £30 if reccomended by someone (still looking for that person). It equals around £10-£11 per month for 750mins + 150 texts or was it 200 texts? I dont need the texts but overall thats a good deal considering I'de easily spend £10 on top-up every month with less minutes.
I would only use this contract during peak hours as I have a o2 contract which gives me unlimited x net minutes between 7pm-7am and weekends.
What do you lot think, I'm learning this stuff day by day, any help, tips or reccomendations of other tarrifs would be highly appreciated!
