  • Spend less, so glad you took some time out for you. Being a little scarce means you have relaxing time and they start to value you being there. X
    Good luck

spendless thought about you today when I went into a draw full of bits and pieces, organized chaos within a draw but hey I knew where to find what I was looking for and no one can see how untidy it is:rotfl::D

Am about to get a lot of time to devote to organising. Company I work for has lost its contract, so will be finishing at Christmas -at the very latest, might be as early as this week!
  • Dear SL, so sorry to hear your news, unless it is good news and you wanted to stop work? You may be able to pick up some contract work still before Xmas perhaps? Good luck with any of the paths you choose to take.

    Best wishes, Tilly

Thanks Tilly. I have a short-term contract with them till end of year as they took me on from being an agency worker for them not long ago. Whether I will really remain there till Christmas, since the office is closing I'm unsure at the min. Either way it falls,I don't want to be job hunting in Dec or Jan. I'd like to be able to devote that time to going thru the jobs in the house that are never got round to doing. I am fortunate that we don't need my money to pay bills, but it took me a long time (18 months) to find this job and I don't relish doing it again -I live in an area of high unemployment.
