Thanks.
Still cheap calls from a mobile though so not complaining!0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any mobile network which will allow the 0808 number calls on PAYG?
Can't use it on my virgin mobile, but don't mind changing.
If not which networks allow it on contract?
Thanks.0 -
If you add another phone number to your 18866 account eg my parents are their calls listed separately on the account ?0

I called a landline tonight and got the "half a p per minute" message, looking at the FAQ on the Call18866 website shows:Q: I thought UK calls were free, but I am charged 0.5p per minute! Are you trying to rip me off?
Regrettably we have been forced to change the tariffs for calls via our access numbers 0808 170 77 88 and 020 7001 9797. This is due to higher costs charged by other operators we unfortunately have to pass on. You can find the new prices here.
Please note that all calls via access code 18866 remain the same rates as before!!
So some calls are freer than others !!! >:(0 -

Hello, I'm completely new to all this..... So here's a question which others might find a bit stupid so please bare with me! I would like to register with 18866 and they are asking for the numbers I want to use for this service. Are they asking for the number I'm dialling from or the numbers I will be dialling up? I think the last posting has kind of answered my question....but I'd like to make sure. Seeing a list for 10 numbers kind of made me wonder. :-/0

Yes it is your number that you put in but you can add up to ten numbers so if you want to pay the bill for family or friends you can put in their numbers. Or if someone doesn't have internet access to sign up you can put in their numbers but best be sure they will pay you for the calls

Hi there - love this site and now a dedicated credit card tart! Having trouble with registering for 18866 though as they are telling me my credit card number is wrong no matter which card I use? Anyone else had this problem - yes I am credit worthy!0

I can't remember how I entered my CC details for 18866 but I had no such difficuilty.
However, I know that some sites don't accept spaces (i.e. entering a CC number as 4 blocks of 4 digits with a space in between each block is rejected but entering it as a stream of 16 continuous digits is accepted).
Hope that helps.30 years, 217 days!0
