My phobias
Fairly common one needles - despite having 4 tattoos lol
cotton wool pads, from when i was 10 i had a minor dental op to remove 2 teeth, they asked me to bite down on cotton wool pads after, it made me sick and i can still feel the cotton wool scrunching between my teeth...eeek! i cant bear cotton wool pads, but ok with buds.
E.T...as a child i would watch with my older bro n sis and hide behind cushion, ask them to tell me when he wasnt on screen, they said look now and then went boo! even now i still shudder at sight of E.T lol
Slugs, about 4yrs ago, went out into our utility shed connected 2 back door, forgot to put shoes on, stood barefoot on a giant slug, splat! and it makes me feel soo ill seeing them now lol
thats mine lol:kisses3:0 -
Mine is feet (including my own, no one else can see them) and high pitched noises make me cower.
Feet, absolutely. I just hate them. Also when people rub their socks together I have to leave the room (a tactic my OH often employs when he wants to watch something different on the tv).0 -
ahhhh some1 else scared of fish they petrify me I have to check if restaurants, hotels, hospital waiting rooms have them before I go so special arrangements can be made. also high cistern toilets. My throat feels like its swelling up when I talk about these 2 things. I’m scared of spiders but I know for a fact I actually have a phobia of fish and high cistern toilets as i can tell the difference between how I react seeing a spider and seeing the other 2. i will quit happily sit in a room with a spider (watching it like a hawk) but fish and high cistern toilet and i nearly pass out haha0

I like trees on an individual basis, but can't stand it when they all gang up together... woods, forests etc. So many bad things happen or get covered up in those dark, creepy places.... urgh!0

Trypophobia! I hate that advert for deoderant.
Same here. Don't google the word as they have pictures which make me go :eek:
Ant eggs all clustered together freak me out and the cross section of a twig etc. Funnily enough honeycomb doesn't bother me.
My sister used to tease me as had a piece of pot pourri full of holes in her bathroom *shudders*Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Oh my god I had no idea my phobia had a name!! I just thought polka dots because of the holes (dots that look likes holes!)
I did google Trypophobia and unfortunately clicked images......:eek::eek:0 -
Slugs and, to a lesser extent, snails. I abhor slugs but merely dislike snails (and can flick them away with a space if necessary).
I used to be afraid of glass-walled lifts, but forced myself to get used to them when I started my current job last year. I think it was the thought of walking up all those stairs ...
One I don't understand, I abhor adult feet. And yet I love Andrew's little feet. So I am wondering how big he will be (or rather, how big his feet will be) when I switch from liking to disliking his feet!!!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I always use my own herbs in cooking but this Christams the ham was put on hold when I found the bay tree covered in hundred's of ladybirds. I've looked this up on the Internet and apparently they like to group together to over winter. Must be safety in numbers or something.
Has anyone else seen this?0 -
I've just met an American teenage girl who is afraid of large inflatable balls. :rotfl:0
