Strange Phobias

Me and a friend were having a conversation about phobias and apparently mine is really weird so I thought I'd post it on here and see if anyone else has any strange phobias!
Tattoos - I absolutely hate the things. If I see one I want to be sick, and if I see one when I'm eating I stop immediately and feel like being sick. Even the idea of pen on the skin. When I was at school and someone tried to write on your hand or their hand, it physically repulsed me.
A strange one I know!

Water chestnuts, even the word makes me feel sick. The thought of finding one of those things in my food would be enough to give me a panic attack. I've no idea where this came from, but I've always felt like this as far as I can rememeber. I must have had one in my food at some point when I was a child... shudder.:A

electricity pylons....they give me the creeps---years ago there was an advert on TV where they were walking across the countryside--I used to hide behind the cushions on the sofa---still hate them now....I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

Wind turbines.
I've always hated them, they're like big metal monsters! The kids think they're funny if they see one and say "look at that Mum/look over there Mum"...little gits
When me and my husband went to Lanzarote a fortnight ago, I was sat at the window seat on the plane. I was reading my book and every so often I'd nose out of the window to see what I could see.
I looked out and saw mountains....carried on reading my books.....10 minutes later, looked out again, and saw mountains AND ABOUT 300 BLOODY WIND TURBINES....:eek::eek:
I shrieked and hid my face with my book, my husband jumped, the people alongside us jumped and asked me if I was Ok so hubby had to explain....oh the shame!
:o:o
My heart was pounding, I could feel my face burning, i felt sick and I almost pooped my pants :rotfl::rotfl:
I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was bloody awful
We live right facing the River Mersey and I've already told my husband that if they ever put them there and I can see them from our house, we're moving!
And bang goes me ever going to Cornwall...I've always wanted to go there too.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

big stones, it comes from a children's series when I was a kid, can't remember what it was called, all I can remember is there were big stones, like at stonehenge, can't even remember what the stones were there for, but when I see big stones, and to be honest they don;t have to be that big, it sets off something inside me and I freak !whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

I remember that series, didn't they move closer to the house at night? It was really good but I can understand why it scared you.0 -
My DS has a phobia of Buttons, he has to wear a tie when it is necessary to wear a shirt so he can't see them. I know some types affect him more than others but can't remember which. He has always been like this and cannot find a reason.0
