Ants... they fill me with dread.
When ever i get ill, i imagine them everywhere.. all over the house, all over me etc.
I don't mind the odd ant here or there but when theres a group of them... xc.gjsklgjdfkljgdklj yuk!0 -
I guess i have two. One being baked beans. I cant look at them out of their tin, or smell them, and the sound of them bubbling in a pan makes me heave too. Used to be chased around my student house by a housemate, who would be carrying a bowl of beans.. Still revenge is sweet, as she had a custard phobia, so i left a bowl of custard on her bed, and went home for the weekend, and she had to wait for another housemate to get home to move it before she could go to bed....
The other phobia is downward sloping surfaces, ie stairs, hills, but especially escalators, even more so when they are stopped and you have to walk down. My legs sieze up, and i get sweaty and shaky. Up is fine, but down... argh. Used to be alot worse, but faced the fact that i was never going to get far in life if i could only live in East Anglia or Holland (where it is flat). I can now walk downstairs without grasping the bannister or railings on a death grip, but i can NEVER walk down the middle of a set of wide stairs with nothing in reach to grab if needed.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I can text fine, but I also can't answer my mobile, even when I know the caller.
Phones just freak me out.
Me too. Glad I have found someone else that is terrified of them. I can only answer my phone to my husband. It's getting worse and worse, to the point that when me and my partner decided to get married, I couldn't even ring my own parents to tell them the good news.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Sensible phobias - rats and spiders.
Other phobias - any sort of drain/grid/grate at the bottom of a swimming pool. And (can barely type the words!) - chewing gum.

I have a phobia of walking down stairs, after falling down a very steep set when little. I still claim I was pushed by my brother but the jury is out on that one, lol. I literally have to come down them one at a time, as a very young child would.
I dislike loud noise to the extent where it probably is a phobia, makes me feel very on edge. I hate being stuck in queues. Will go well out of my way to avoid having to take a route which involves being in a queue. I feel trapped and powerless on how long my journey will take. Ridiculous I know but there you go!
I also have a phobia of tomatoes, not just eating them, I cannot pick one up.0 -

I also have a fear of phones.
I'll only answer my mobile if it's DH or someone I know is going to phone me at a specific time, like tomorrow, but I'm still absolutely dreading it.:o
I also have a phobia of making phonecalls but I have to phone the GP surgery to get some blood and swab results this week and I'm absolutely terrified.:o2019 Wins
