Strange Phobias

Everyone laughs at me for this one, but mine is pigeons. I absolutely detest the sight of them, and will walk a long way around just so as not to pass one. When I went to Venice (bloody thousands of them), I was in tears walking through the square. I'm feeling shaky just typing about them.
I also hate people touching my feet, monobrows (if I'm talking to someone with one, I will look anywhere but at their face, makes me heave, same with lady moustaches/beards), cardboard, and large wheelie bins, I'm scared I'll get stuck in one!
The best one is my housemate, she is scared of blocks of cheese, won't even touch the wrapper. Always have fun winding her up!
ETA: I nearly forgot, when people go to write on paper with a pen that needs clicking, and they don't click it. arghhhhhh!0 -
My daughter has a phobia of magazines and newspapers, she goes crazy if one is near her or anywhere near one of her teddies. She also refuses to touch any kind of leaflet.. very strange, I am hoping she grows out of it lol0

I can't go in a freezer unless what I want is right in front of me and won't touch ice when I take it out. If anyone crunches ice I have to leave the table, that advert for the sensitive toothpaste where the woman eats ice to prove it works has me with my eyes squeezed shut and my fingers in my ears!
If I have ice in a drink I have to have a straw with it so it doesn't touch my teeth. My pregnant sister has just started having cravings for ice cubes. When she was telling me I'd dug my fingernails into my palms so hard there were really deep marks on them!
I'm weird!
Me too!!! Infact, reading this is making me feel sick!!0 -
Love diving/fishing even going out on my jet ski or uncles yacht, but the under side of boats. Can't stand touching them or even thinking about it. Might have something to do with getting stuck under them but what ever it is I ruddy hate them!"if it bleeds we can kill it" 42 Commando0

Feet! I can't touch anyone else's, can't take anyone's feet touching me, can't have anyone touching my feet. I can only just get to grips with handling my own (they look so much less monstrous when they are smooth-skinned and my toenails are painted). I could never wear anyone else's socks even if they were fresh out of the wash and my feet were turning blue.
Summer is awful when people wear sandals with crusty nails and wodges of hard skin. Pleeeeeease maintain your feet if you're going to inflict them on the public!Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -

I'm terrified of them too and people think I'm mad as everybody seems to love them. My fear comes from when I was younger and I was bitten by a ladybird. So many people are unaware they bite and when I insist they do they think I'm even madder lol.
Maggots freak me out as does the thought of anything touching my eyeball
I used to cry if I saw a spider but when I had children I was so determined not to pass my fear on to them that I ended up not being quite so scared.0 -
maggots, cockroaches, cotton wool between your teeth (dentist, mine has to use rolled up bandage), clowns, toothbrushes left with bits in them, babies dressed in adult clothes i.e. boots, denim jackets, combats etc (not sure where that one came from but it terrifies me to point of feeling sick) and the last one ..... chocolate.
The last one, chocolate, the phobia lasted about 6 months after an operation. I physically couldn't be near the stuff it made me sick.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
