So if I'm claiming £645 off MBNA and I register this amount with MCOL, how do I go about claiming back the fees that MCOL incur?

    And how much is it?

    Cheers.
  • hi if u go to mcol and fill in the form on one of the pages u put in ur amount then press calculate it will tell u how much court costs are , might be about £80 then it will tell u how much it is all together hope this helps then at the end u put ur debit details in and pay , usally takes about 2 days for the court costs to come out jill

    Thanks for that jill/ johnny.

Would this mean writing to MBNA again to tell them that they would owe me an extra x number of pounds to pay for the court costs, or does the bumph that MCOL send out have the new amount included?

hi knackered ive had a good will of mbna about 2 weeks ago going to mcol on line next week.i havent wrote to mbna to tell them they still owe me money think it will be a waste of time, if u mcol fill it in then , the courts will send it to mbna and a letter to u , u cant go wrong on the mcol site cheers jill
  • hi there, just need some advice, I sent my credit card charge claims off and recieved letter saying they will give me what amounts to about 45% of my claim, this they reckon is the new £12 limit. Can I push for the whole lot, will I even get it or do they now only pay the £12 charge? my charges only amount to £290 so not worth court process.
  • POOR BIG SPENDER, go through mcol, they always pay in full, you first need to calculate the interest through the calculator on this site, i have claimed off 2 cards and in the process of mbna, they have both paid in full when gone through mcol and i presume mbna will do the same, if you accept there offer, they have won

Today I was about to begin MCOL proceedings against MBNA. I was just going to work out what interest they owe me and crack on with things. Then their half-offer of £321 dropped through the door.

    SO...

Does this mean I've got to now give them more time before starting MCOL by writing to MBNA and accepting it as half payment? And where does this leave me with the interest I can claim? Do I work out what they would have owed me before the £321 and then take the refunded amount off the net total?

How long do I give them to send me the rest of the money?

    Help!!

Has anyone had any luck with virgin/mbna? A couple of months ago i cancelled my direct debit to them as i was changing bank accounts, then i made a payment with my debit card before the payment due date. they then charged me £34.09 'unpaid direct debit' and £12 'returned payment fee'!

hi i have had 2 cards with mbna and got payouts on both. started sending the letters back in april 07 and accepted payouts in july 07. the 1st £40 under what i was asking and the 2nd the full amount plus interest, so good luck and dont give in.:j
