    Dare one say 'Result!'?

"small" showing of cannabis use but overall "inconclusive"

Hardly the perfect picture of a secure household for this little girl....? Surely?

No, which is why he needs to stop moaning and do something about it. He can whinge all he likes to social workers and health visitors, if that child is in real danger he needs to go for custody and do it now. No ifs, no buts.

I agree, but it's not an easy task, infact he will be fighting his way to and all around the courts!

Have you read my previous posts?

I went to social services. Would you like me to describe my experience in a nutshell? I rang up and said I had concerns for my daughters welfare.

I arranged an appointment with SS. I turned up and waited for an hour. Nobody showed.

I contacted them again. 3 times I was fobbed off and told I would be called back.

I eventually sat down with a SW. She walked into the room on her phone, sat down, no pen or paper, and said "whats the problem".

I described the video I had seen. I described the issue of parties going on at the house.

LOW AND BEHOLD! SOMEBODY ELSE HAD ALREADY MADE AN ANONYMOUS COMPLAINT TO THEM (I SWEAR ON DAUGHTERS LIFE I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS)

    SURELY SOMETHING WOULD BE DONE?

"Oh I suppose I should go and visit".

She visited. There was food in the cupboards and the house was clean. That was it. She scheduled a follow up visit, this never happened I have it on good authority.

    SS are a JOKE.

    I have been to court.

I made application for custody dependent on her passing the drugs test. She "passed" or rather didnt fail it due to the courts taking to bloody long to issue the order. Coke isn't in the bloodsteam for an infinate length of time.

Exactly. You got her drug use down to 'inconclusive'. Which is 'Result!' - unless what you really want is a screamingly positive test with consequences for the ex.

I'm sure his daughter's welfare is worth it.

I am glad she passed it.

I want our daughter to have contact with both of her parents.

I don't however feel comfortable with her being bathed, alone, by a 16 year old male she has known for a short length of time.

As other posters have suggested, this is NOT ridiculous.

    Then stop relying on SS.

Can you just answer the question about the detail of the current custody/ visitation etc agreement please?

Actually it would have been a hair strand test - hence your comment about dyeing hair! These can be used to test for drug use in the previous 12 months, so all they would have needed to do is test 5cm of hair for 5 months, so the bloodstream part is irrelevant.

I don't know whether repeated dyeing would make a difference.

It makes provision for 3 hours of contact every Sunday.

Every other weekend Friday to Sunday evening.

    2 weeks during school holidays.

1 week at easter, an extra 48 hours at Xmas and Birthday period.
