Yes , but you seem to argue against the answers you don't like.

As has been said Ailrines set their rules for baggage allowance according to their own business plan.

It has nothing to do with actual total weight of the passenger or how miuch the baggage handlers can [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE] lift

If you went business or first (and paid ££££) you can take about 3 times the weight of Economy passengers (because you've paid for it!)

On a cheapo economy flight you are ony allowed a minimum as your fare is cheap.

Next time you fly look at the T&C's of baggage and pack accordingly.

In the big scheme of things of AC take off weight, passenger luggage pails into insignificance compared to fuel weight and cargo.

Many thanks for all your advise polly cat so it does not matter where your going to or where from only who with? Thomas Cook have 15kilo and first choice have 20kilo, but Turkey is shorthaul in Thomas Cook and midhaul in first choice ??In future i will check how much baggages i am allowed and also weigh my baggs . I am still not happy with Thomas Cook and it was a bit of a bad end to a nice holiday my first time at Turkey. but we did have nice seats that my friend payed for us and i nearly got the plane ladys number. Thanks again for all your advises sparky. polly are you a cat ? how old i am 22 . message me

    I think you've got it now. :T

Just check with whichever airline you're flying with for their baggage allowance.

BUT - beware that if you book a package or flight only your allowance may be different - even if you're looking at the same company.
It's not always clear and it's best to check before you fly.

    Also hand luggage:
    • check out the weight allowed - it can also differ between airlines
    • check out the dimensions (height, width, depth) as that also can differ

I can understand that it left a bad taste in your mouth but the bit in bold made me smile:

Bless, you, you've made an old lady happy. :kisses3:
No, I'm not a cat (or a fox) and at 22, I'm (just about) old enough to be your Grandma so I'll won't be messaging you. ;)
Enjoy your next holiday - and read the terms & conditions before you go.

To be honest, Sparky, I don't think you'd know the truth if it bit you on the bum, based on what you say on other posts:

My parents have recently me offered me a similar option to get onto the property ladder. I have to be 110% sure i do all my sums before either accepting or not. I dont know if they will re-mortgage but they say they will to make sure i pay it back which i will. They loaned me some money to buy a car and pay off debts 2 years ago which i have paid back in full A.S.A.P.
At almost 58 I can't imagine my parents (aged over 80) offering me a helping hand to get on the property ladder.

FWIW, I compared your method of writing on your other posts against on this one and could see you were a wind-up.

I just hope you're never desperate for real advice 'cos people do have long memories and you might just find that the help you ask for is given by somebody who is also 'board' (sic).
