Hi Bawbee,
I've sent you a PM so we can look into this further for you. I apologise if you have received a further letter from a collections agency. Was this within 30 days of the complaint being closed?
Cheers

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but... have been with Talktalk for 18 months or so and have not had any problems (except for slow broadband speeds) but they recently offered me a wireless router in exchange for signing up for a further 18 months and I was wondering if this was a scam for somehow making my original contract with them null and void. They don't offer the free calls package any more and I don't want to jeopardise what I've already got. Is it a sneaky way of withdrawing my free stuff at the end of the next 18 months?
Thanks0 -
Hi Gershwin Mcginty,
You can renew your contract either on the same tariff with the same benefits or you can move to myTalkTalk Essentials. Its impossible to know what has been actioned without looking at your account but if you've not asked to change tariff the chances are you've renewed on the same plan. If you'd like me to check for sure then I'll need you to register at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums, if you pop up a new post there I'll be able to look more specifically for you.
Cheers

hello all, I am currently on Talk International Evening and Weekend call plan which includes landline (£10.50 per month) and broadband (£5.89 per month) total: £16.46 per month.
My contract expires in December 2009, i know its a long way off but wanted to ask some questions:
1) what happons on the last day of my contract?
2) Do I have to change my package, or can I remain on the package i am currently on?
3) do i have to renew my contract or can i just continue receiving a service from Talk Talk?
4) I notice the current package offered to customers is the essential package, are there any differences with my package and the essentials package?
hope someone can helpTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
Hi Lee,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
You may receive a call from TalkTalk asking you if you want to renew your contract. You don't have to do renew but there may be incentives on offer if you choose to. You can stay on your current package - there is no requirement to change. Once your contract is up you can stay with TalkTalk without the need for another contract should you choose to do so.
myTalkTalk is the current tariff we offer in conjunction with broadband. It dose not offer the international calls that you get with the Talk International packages but you get free daytime calls to UK local landlines and free 0845/0870 calls in line with the package.
Cheers

Firstly,I think it`s very good of Emma to spend time on these boards.:T
If people took the trouble to join TT`s own member`s forum their questions would be answered and help given the same day.:T

I recently switched to talk talk for my broadband and home phone. I was told I would be live on 20th April today is the 29th I am still not fully conected I can phone out but cannot receive incoming calls. This is effecting my work email as I am on a virtual private network and it won't connect. I have received various reasons the first for most of last week was to blame this on BT enginers who apparently don't work to the times given by other areas of BT. This week I am being told it is a net work problem. I am being told I will be called back with more information but this isn't happening. I am really fed up and in all likelihood I will return to BT and find another broadband provider because chaep is onething but very little use if you can't use the system0

Hi Kate,
Sorry to hear you are having problems with your serivce. We can look into any faults for you at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums if you don't mind registering on there. What router are you using at the moment? Is it a D-Link or HG520?
Cheers
