Thank you for your reply I am already registered on the forum but as i have spoken to many people over the last few weeks regarding this matter I really don't have any faith in the company or it's employee's. My plan should never have been changed without my say so. As isaid I will be going back to BT as soon as I possibly can. I'm sorry if I have appeared rude but I have had enough of talk talk.:TNot going to bury my head in sand any longer

I'd suggest you change your 'systems' then.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Dear Sacymare,
I completely understand how you feel, as I too have had my fairshare of bad customer service, and I also have had my episods with some of the green tops (employees) on the forum.
I know you might not have any further faith, but please give the green tops an opportunity to put things right on the TalkTalk forum. You can also log a complaint there which can even lead to OFCOM.
i know its tough to hear but dont walk away from this, go on talktalk forums, at least paste and post your concerns, you have noithing to lose, and a little to gain.Thank you for your reply I am already registered on the forum but as i have spoken to many people over the last few weeks regarding this matter I really don't have any faith in the company or it's employee's. You have exactly hit the nail on the head.

That is the place to be airing your concerns and to get REAL help, where their reps are on hand every day to deal with matters.
Why people come on these forums when help is available elsewhere is beyond me.
Having said that,a lot of the posts on here are just made up nonsense by people with nothing better to do,who probably work for a rival.0 -

I am not entire in agreement with you on your post above. I can fully understand people airing concerns on this website. often if you have a gripe and used there telephone CS department, the last thing you want to do is repeat concerns again.
sometimes talking to other Moneysavers can also be helpful.
as for suggesting moneysavers come on this site to make up nonsense with noithing better to do, or work for rival companies. without accurate information, its difficult to suggest things like that.
What you must agree on is that the customer servicedepartmant at TalkTalk needs vast improvement.
Lets support fellow moneysavers, not scorn them!!Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
If i have a problem with any aspect of my Talktalk package i go to their member`s forum and get it sorted out where their reps are available.
It cannot really be sorted on these forums, although their reps do visit the forum whenever they can.0 -
Hi Saucymare,
If you could post on the members forums I'll be able to pull the call and see exctly what was discussed and why the plan change was completed. The offer is there if you want to take it up.
Cheers

I have just had a nightmare time with talk talk. Following a call from a talk talk partner I gave permission for talk talk to contact me. When they did I was offered the talk 2 package including 8 meg broadband (essentials?) for £17.24. As this was cheaper than my current provider I agreed and awaited the welcome pack. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until the details came through at which point I saw that they only seemed to be switching my phone provider. 35 minutes of 0870 numbers later I was told I had been mis-sold as the package wasn't available in my area and the whole thing was cancelled. Talk Talk said they would investigate it as mis-selling was taken very seriously but I wouldn't be informed of the outcome. I phoned my current provider who asked if I had been given a cancellation code as certain companies would say they had cancelled the order but in fact hadn't. My current provider put a stop to the order.
Make sure you check the details of any welcome pack and query anything that is slightly wrong. If I hadn't I can see I would have had a major battle on my hands to sort the mess out.
Not good at all.
Is there anybody in this world not out to rip you off??????????????????????????0 -
