*sigh* 3 times now DD has been setup , then the EDF system cancelled it the very next day - and still no call back from the DD team as to why - guess they dont actually want me to pay..... fixed saver v2 so have to pay by DD as well0

Took them an age to start taking my money too. I just kept it on one side in the bank, figuring it was better in mine than theirs. Sorted it out by phoning them in the end, and making a manual payment to cover what they had missed. 2 DD recalcs later, I got them to put the amount back to what it had originally been (but never taken). I was just a little concerned that they'd say I wasn't entitled to the DD discount as I wasn't paying by DD and Fixed Saver v2 requires it, but it wasn't a problem. Got the discount applied even though they hadn't taken any payments.
Now, if only I could get them to pay me for the electricity I use....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. The credit works "fine" using the bank account details which appear somewhere on MyAccount. As to which fuel, you having a laugh?:D
Just set up an online banking bill payment arrangement using the Edf bank details in MyAccount and quoting your Edf account number as the "reference". You may need to "defeat" your bank's online templates for EDF Energy. When I did it, either the 67* template was different bank account details or didn't exist. Just another example of Edf's p*ss poor attention to detail.
But the MyAccount details certainly work for me. test it with a token payment. I sent £1.
You raise an interesting point about the "fuel split". Nominally it is built in to the monthly payment, but I am not aware where to find the "balance split" online.
Anyway I have had my 2 reviews, wobetide any further attempt to review me before April 2012.
I have 2 account numbers, one for electric and one for gas, they have just this week taken the first DD's, £36.93 electric and £49.57 for gas. These amounts now show as a credit on the seperate accounts, so the split has taken place?
I take it if I follow your crediting procedure I will use the 2 account numbers and the money will go to the seperate accounts. "Myaccount" still shows the Contract tracker info so no idea where to find their bank details. I think a phone call may be required when I am ready to do the credit.0 -

Ah. I *presume* you are a longer standing customer and not (yet) on either a 67* account number (single number for dual-fuel) or transferred to the "new" MyAccount system. Enjoy what is left of the summer.0 -

I am very new to EDF (September) the 2 accounts I have for gas and electric are both 67 accounts and I think I am on the new "myaccount" but who knows.0 -

OK, I am on a dual-fuel tariff (FP 2014) and only have one account number. I "presume" (hedgeing my bets) either you are not on a dual fuel tariff or the system has been changed since I switched a couple of months ago.:D
I will edit this later with (my) MyAccount location of the bank account details.
Select "View or pay bills" then "Pay my bill". The bank details are at the bottom of the page (with a single account number).0 -

It would appear that they may now have 2 different versions of the computer system for 67* accounts? Does this explain why my switch has gone reasonably smoothly (oh dear is that tempting fate).
I have not looked inthe "View or pay bills " section so I may find the bank details there. Thanks.
Edit; just had a horrible thought. Have they set me up, not as a dual fuel customer but as 2 seperate single fuel accounts (so I will not get the discount). What have other switchers about the same time as me got? 2 account numbers or 1? Cooking mama what about you.0 -

FWIW, my switch proceeded smoothly (including losing supplier final reading notification) without having "succeeded" in contacting Edf (though I wanted to because MyAccount provided no confidence).
The problems since have centred round incorrect or random DD recalculations. Unless you are interesting in exploring (or provoking) problems I recommend you don't bother submitting readings (other than the transfer readings).0 -
