There is a sticky on the first page of the board with the addresses of all of the banks.
Use the address in that thread.

            Hi there,
Very new to reclaiming bank charges. I have had alot of late payments charges over the years on my Capital One, Mint, Egg, Nationwide Cc's, and a Burtons store card which has left me in alot of debt.
I'm sure I can handle the Nationwide claim it is my local bank and I'll just hand in the letter. But for the others I'm a bit confused. To whom and where do I send the letters for Mint, Egg & Capial One requesting money back? and can I even claim my Burtons card?
Also, Can this be done by email?
Lastly, as I'm a poor student, the £10 fee to list previous defaults I think I can manage, but some guy told me this step is passable by stating a higher estimate than you think your due. Is he crazy?
 Thanks for any forthcoming advice...

Vince - Send the SARs to the address listed on your statements. They'll get forwarded to the relevant department. As for Burtons, yes you can claim these back as well. There's a bank behind the card (GE Capital, maybe?) so send your SAR off to them. Again, address will be on statement.
Not sure what you mean regarding the £10 - is this for the DPA request fee? If so you can claim this back along with the charges, or so I believe."Think for yourselves and allow others the privilege to do so too." Voltaire.0

No because you need to enclose £10

And did this guy tell you how you are going to estimate your charges and how you are going to list this estimate as your defence should this end up at court? Believe me the banks know exactly what they have charged you and will query your claim if you make an overclaim even on one charge. You can't add on the £10 DPA charge to your claim.
 Thanks for any forthcoming advice...

Best advice is read Martin's article and then read it again and start at the first step.

            Hi,
I have just sent Data Protection letters to two banks by recorded delivery.
I have sent them to the Manager of my local branch.
I have just seen a list of different address of banks which is the Data Protection Section.
I hope it goes to the correct place, a bit worried now.0

I've done this with multiple banks. They will forward your letters onto the relevent department. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Thanks to all who replied, very helpful and I appreciate it. :A
I checked out the link Edinburghlass posted with address, ty for that. I'm now ready to send off to DPA address using the letter template. I have read template over but I'm not sure as to the wording.
Does the sentence 'I am writing to request a fully comprehensive list of all the default charges for direct debit, unauthorised overdrafts and standing orders I have paid over the last six years.' cover late payment fees? as that is mainly all I can claim back.
And, as I am Scottish, I should change 'last six years' to 'last five years' yes?
Also, the part that says '[Insert name of bank]'
will it be the name of the card in the case of Mint and Egg? or is there a bank behind them the same way GeMoney are behind Burtons store card?
I think once these things clarified I can go ahead and get my 5 checks made up in the morning. (Ge Money, Mint, Nationwide, Egg & Capital One.)
 Thanks again

After default charges take out the direct debits etc and replace with late payment charges.
Yes if you are claiming in Scotland change 6 years to 5 and yes put in Mint or Egg instead of a bank name. Good luck!0

            Hi guys,
For those of you that claimed back money from Barclays, which address did you use to send the 1st and/or 2nd claim letters to? Did you just use your local branch, or a specific complaints address?
I was considering using their Customer Relations address at
 Customer Relations
 Barclays Bank PLC
 1 Churchill Place

Does anybody have any advice on this?
 Many thanks,
