Despite all the logic I regret getting a Galaxy S2, Shoulda went for iPhone 4, I can't put my finger on why exactly, I suppose I had a 3GS and was an apple fan, the Galaxy S2 for me has no desire factor where as the iPhone does.

You probably have a 14 day cooling off period in your contract - use it if you are not happy. Then I think you should wait for the iPhone 5, given that it is only down the road and I am sure that you will 'desire' that more than the 4.

Just go for the phone you think is right for you, after all it's something that gets a fair bit of use and the good thing is, there's plenty of choice :)

In that case I would be inclined to hold on to it, for now at least. Wait until the iPhone 5 comes out because you never know what that is going to do to the price of the iPhone 4. On top of that, it gives you a bit more of an opportunity to consider your options.

I'm really torn between the Iphone 4 and Galaxy S 2 at the moment. I will have to pay a bit towards either of the phones, the Galaxy is £30 more expensive. I'm not bothered about that though if I get the right phone. I'm using a battered Satio at the moment and it's really starting to play up so I need a phone asap.

I've wanted an Iphone for a while and I know the 5 is coming out but there's no way I'd pay the money for it when it finally appears, especially with the lowest memory being 32gb, it'l be a fortune.

Read loads of good things about the Galaxy, and having never had an Iphone would I not miss what I've never had?

    Advice, please, so confused.

Given that we don't know what the next iPhone has in store I'd say you're best off waiting to see what it's all about before making a decision.
  • Ya, I am using HTC phone as well. Lots of useful free app.

I won't be buying the Iphone 5 anyway, regardless if it's jewel encrusted :( My contract is £35 a month at most and with that the phone will be a fortune.

Plus my phone is really on it's last legs, I'll be surprised if it lasts the week out, and there's no actual release date yet for the Iphone 5 to wait for prices on the 4 to drop. With Jobs leaving etc I'm not sure how that will affect everything too.

I like Sony Ericssons, I've had them for the last 5/6 years, maybe longer actually, there isn't any I'm keen on at the moment though.

The Arc is meant to be the best Sony Ericsson out there at the moment.

Certainly for £30-35 you can get a good contract on the Samsung Galaxy without paying much upfront too.
