Took Cap one all the way  for £63 plus interest & court fee. Applied for Judgement today, they didnt defend at all.
Well Done to Maisie-misswith HSBC, I am claiming £2400 back from them as we speak, and have to wait for the 28 days given to them by the court to enter their Defence, i hope they pay up the same for me !
Advice Please
I sent Egg card a request for my statements on the 5th march so to my reckoning the time is about up, and i have received no copies of statements. I have checked that they received the letter ( recorded delivery ) and it was delivered on the 7th. Only problem is they have not cashed my cheque for the £10.00. Do i now complain to the commisioners as they will probably say they havent received it or do i send another letter (i sent original to Jenny Gordon 1 Waterhouse square EC1 N2NA )
Any help please.0 -

Just Rang Egg and funnily enough they are being processed, strange how they only started processing when they received them on the 5th April. It took a month to get to them.
I Must remember to use a different carrier Pigeon next time
will see how long it takes form now
Any body hear how the court case went yesterday for somebody taking bank to court, it was on the radio, i dont know if the bank actually turned up, but it seemed strange that it was on the radio news, could this be the one they have decide to challenge :eek:0 -
As there don't seem to be many posts about Egg I'll keep you up to date on my claim for CC charges:
I am at 'MCOL to local court 'transfer stage and have just received an offer from Egg's solicitors (Eversheds) for all charges plus court costs but without interest.
I am rejecting this offer and pressing for the full amount even though the interest is approx £40 - so some light at the end of the tunnel.0 -
Yey! :j
Got letter in the post from Eggs solicitors on Saturday offering full amount + interest + court fee.0 -
Great - now I feel less nervous about rejecting the offer without interest. Congrats!0

Also recieved a letter this morning from Egg about wanting ID before releasing any info about me.
A little miffed as it has to be original (ALL my bills/statements are done online so are paperless unless I print them off which they wont accept!) and there 40 days are almost up!
Also miffed cos I am asking them to send the details to the account holder at the account holders address (me!) at which they have already taken ID when I opened the account at the address years ago!
Ah well, if its the process that I have to go through to get my money credited back to my account, then its the one I will have to do! I will be sending the ID (don't know what yet!) and warn them that there time is up and I will be informing the commissioner.
Thats 2 out of 12 have heard back from!0 -
Egg asked me for a copy of ID too - I sent a photocopy of my passport and a few bills/bank statements and they sent everything pretty quickly.0

Two days after rejecting their offer of the full amount + court fee, Egg have offered me the full amount + statutory interest + court fee. It just took one email to Eversheds solicitors. Cool!0

HI there!
I've just learned that you can claim credit card charges as well as bank charges! This is good news. Thing is, I had a credit card account with Egg and they don't send paper statements, just online ones. My account with them closed a while ago and despite being able to access my old account online, no information is available.
How would I go about claiming from them? Has anyone done so?
Cheers0
