I never burn myself ironing...oh I got a bad scar on my hand at school ironing, but that's it. Now, the cooker on the other hand....my shelves run very easily and often fall out when I'm lifting stuff out...and I never can resist the temptation to try and stop them coming out against my arms
Luckily I don't scar very easily.0 -
I find this whole scenario fascinating. Did anyone see the news story on Yahoo Lifestyle this evening about the woman using a dating site for married people? Basically she doesn't get everything she wants from her relationship, but doesn't want to end it, so she started an affair with someone she met on the site.
Although it is selfish, and most people would say morally wrong, who is to say that the pressures of modern life don't drive some people to have affairs? Afterall, the lifestyle most people aspire to is to have everything they want, not just what they need. I am on the fence with it, as another user pointed out, I am in no position to judge anyone else, and nor do I want to. Each to their own - so long as its legal ;-)
What I think is sad about PTNs situ is that she is suffering emotionally - reducing self esteem - from this relationship. That shouldn't happen regardless of the circumstances; whoever you choose to be with should make you feel amah-zing. Not all the time, that's not practical, but at nearly every opportunity.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

they used to do a hot wax manicure and pedicure. I always wondered if it were less painful on more robust parts of skin like hands/soles of feet.0 -

Who knows, isn't that just the way the saying goes?

It's like an addiction I suppose. We both know it is wrong and will ultimately end up with someone getting hurt, but at the time it feels so good that we don't think about these things. It's very selfish I know. Of course if he was to find himself single in the future I would jump at the chance of being with him, but in our present situation it would not and could not happen.
If we got found out it would kick off big time so we are very careful. He has much more to lose than me but apparently I'm worth the risk...
If he believes you are worth the risk then why isnt he with YOU?It's an honour having such a lovely family and being welsh, what more could a girl want :rotfl:0
