I have really eclectic taste in music, but well, for me ironic has to me singalong music (cheesy eighties sort of stuff...the sort of Magic Radio fodder, because you can belt in out,) nothing to slow and chillout/trancey...because your arm moves to slow and you burn stuff. Because I'm a classical music lover too, I sometimes put on some singalong opera/operetta. Has to be something that makes you want to stand still and sing though, not jiggle about the room ...that stuff is better for cleaning too not ironing.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Films....well, if its a weepy you get extra steam, lol. I just see If its a lucky day on the tv, it rarely is though! In Italy I got obcessed with a film they showed on satalite ..it was TERRIBLE one of those american made for tv real life dramatisations....about a runaway car.....I saw it DOZENS of times as it was just so crack pot and it was ALWAYS on. I muat have ironed dozens and dozens of shirts and bed linen changes to that in the months we lived in that flat!

    Same here.
I'd rather do anything(well almost!) than do the ironing.

Lostinrates tell me your favourite music, favourite film. I will light a roaring log fire and surround you with Yankee Candles(my fave) and then put the ironing board up for you!!

Ooh I've got my Lavender Spa Yankee Candle going now. I can't wait until they get the christmas scented ones out

It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

See what you have started Lostinrates.

I might just have to raid my stash and light up a Berry Crumble.(Still not going to do the ironing though)

    Except Tuesday nights of course.

Its worth it...the ironing makes you all warm so that even whent eh house feels freezing you can wear just pretty knickers ...my DH loves coming home to find me ironing....chilled out from singing and the steam scented happiness...and of course.....needing thanks for all those shirts ironed and hung...:D
