Can an affair ever have a happy ending?

I am a married man, going through a seperation at the moment. However, the woman I was seeing, four years ago, stopped me from doing something very very stupid to myself - as back then I simply lost the will to live because of the way my marriage was.
I believe that people turn up in each others lives for a reason. I am a very strong believer in 'fate' and what will be will be. However, in the situation I have just read, I doubt very much whether he would leave his wife for you, as from what I have read, it sounds like he wants his cake and all the rest too?0 -

I freaking hate ironing! It is avoided at all costs in our house! :rotfl:
Sometimes I don't know how OH can get away with his wrinkly shirts at work! But then, he does wear jeans with them, so I think they've accepted he's not the suit type person either.
I prefer to buy clothes that require little to no ironing. Those that do get worn very infrequently.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I've never ironed. OH does all the ironing chez NDG (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
