Ah now you're showing your age.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

Surprising.
I don't think she was aiming it at you, but at herself. You had to know when she revealed her age it would become the new argument instead of staying on topic. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

So you are saying that you will be a silly and annoying person then when you get older - just you then and not all older people - thats ok then, I take it back.0 -
Not so much nowadays, and becoming less. Modern wives won't put up with it and young women are now more capable of earning a good living and have more self respect than to be grateful for regular cinq a sept.
In any event, it was only ever the bourgeosie that behaved in this way, the poor working classes were too busy working their fingers to the bone to have the time, money and energy for extra-marital hanky panky.
Thats good to know.
Just goes to show how culturally acceptable morality changes with different generations.0 -

It's rubbish because even if PTN doesn't know this man that well, I don't feel (from what she has shared with us on this thread) that I know her as well as I believe she knows him - and I don't believe you know her that well either.0 -

Quite.
She has also said in previous posts that she has not shared everything with us and for obvious reasons.
I am very careful myself as to what I post on here as I would not want to upset anyone I know.0 -

I've known for a long time that many young people are silly and/or annoying and/or disloyal to their partners. Do you think all young people are above all that? You're sadly misguided.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -
