    I've been Money Tipped!
So, all in all, i probably don't know what i am missing :p

Its natural, but unnecessary,to worry a little about it. IMO, its more inducing of worry in a meaningful situation, which is good, because than when the worry is most easy allievated.

I agree, fwiw, that sex with different people is different, some times better, sometimes worse, mostly different and ...like everything else...what you get out of it is proportional to what you put in to it. Like any relationship, its easy at times and other times better if you make a little more effort. Like people are attractive in different ways, so are the ways we relate physically beautifully different, yet also have things the same!

I can already imagine the innuendo people are wanting to type...:o

That is exactly the point. Don't be affraid, look forward to it.

As a few have said, its now time to go with the flow, don't push it, but don't fight it.

I thought you meant he was too short to be a stud!!!

I got together with the man who is now my husband 12 days after coming out of a 2 1/2 year relationship - sometimes it is just rebound, sometimes you just need a palete cleanser before moving on to another real relationship, sometimes its something special, in this instance timing isn't everything.

Anyway my point wasn't to do with my own 'studism' :rotfl:, but more there could be better out there, shame my better half doesn't post in here, would have seemed better her saying it rather then me quoting it. :D

Personnally I am not one to ignore sexual chemistry in a relationship, yes there is more to a relationship but if the sex doesn't work I wouldn't bother (why settle for less?).

I think I'll try and go, thank you. Not feeling great, but I'll give it a go!

I'm excited for your date. Like everyone has said, the timing is irrelevant, just have fun :) I'm glad you are updating the thread again, too, it's nice to see how you are doing!

Oh wow, i guess its just one of those things that you have no control over and if it feels right then thats all that matters.

I think part of the reason that i want to make sure that i am really over my ex before getting into another relationship is because i would hate to use anyone for a rebound relationship. Especially this friend of mine whose last relationship of 6 years ended when he found out his gf was cheating on him with his best friend. So i think the poor guy has been through enough already.

Lol, i bet you use that quote a lot...just like dropping it in everyday conversations David Brent style :p
Seriously though, you probably right. Its probably quite likely that anyone i end up with will have a bit more experience than me, which can only be a good thing...hopefully.

Dont get too excited! It might not be a date, i'm genuinely not sure because he is such a nice guy that i can't tell whether he likes me or is just trying to be there as a good friend for me- i mean he agreed to meet up and give me a shoulder to cry on a couple of days after my ex broke up with me even though i haven't seen or spoken to him in 8 years (we lost contact when we went to different colleges because i didn't know him that well), because thats the kinda guy he is, so i'm trying not to read too much into everything. The last time we met up for lunch and going out tomorrow have both been his suggestions, so he must at least enjoy my company. If he doesn't like me like that then at least ive made a good friend out of this.

Aww, he sounds lovely :) Yeah, you've either got a really good friend, or a lovely possible boyfriend. It's exciting either way :)

It's just a female-only group that was close to me...someone posted about having a meet up drink in a pub, and there's supposedly about 20 people going. Maybe about 4 new ones, including me, I think. It means catching a bus an hour and a half earlier to get there, and then getting a taxi back, but it might be worth it to at least try and make some friends, and getting back into social situations...I'm so nervous, I keep having little dizzy panic attacks and my breathing goes odd. I might not even make it there at this rate, lol!

Elle7, that sounds fun, an adventure. If you don't like them we won't nag you to go back to the same group. ;)

I went to a couple of meetups and everyone was really friendly. Just remember, everyone is there for the same reason...to make friends :)
