On the contrary... I assume at this much holy time of year, people will be respecting the sabbath as the day of rest even more so than usual0 -
Just popped out to get a loaf of bread (usually make my own, but didnt have enough for lunch!!!) and Waitrose was so busy, there was a queue of people outside the store waiting to be let in, and there was a massive queue of cars in the car park waiting to get out!!!! We joined that queue and went to burger king instead (not money saving and not very nice, but better than waiting in the cold for one loaf), and now im home, will be making more bread!!!!0

My mum's just been down to our local market and has just phoned to tell me that the queue for taxi's extend from the rank outside the shop, along the front of the store and down towards the entrance.
Given that the store is an Asda Superstore that is literally huge you get the idea... Apparently there has to be at least 100 people in that queue0 -
Well I'm back and still in one piece - hurrah! all done barring the roasties I forgot and I wouldn't care they were on my list! would make my own but they always turn out rubbish. It was heaving, but I managed to stay calm and relaxed, walked round with a smile on my face (kinda) and I lived to tell the tale, only had to wait 10 mins for a taxi too
I'm all done *sigh of relief*
I've got to unpack it all now though
