Won't at our local store code^express, saying that today the queue at Customer Services was just as big, if not bigger, than at the checkouts.
Oh and people were arguing over trolleys, in fact a lad nearly knocked me flying as he ran towards the one I was just going to get, so I just waited, wasn't going to argue over a trolley today. One day I might be more organised...........

I've just came back from my shopping at Tesco and it seems quieter than a normal friday night. Went straight to a checkout with no queues...brilliant, the most stress free christmas shopping i've ever done.
Maybe because lots of people have finished work today and have had festivities?0 -
i ordered my shopping to be delivered yesterday from tesco, i was surprised that there was only 2 items out of stock! that was squirty cream and free squeezums! so i dont have to go rushing about for anything now. thanks tesco!!!! :T :T :Tspanky xx

Tesco was great today, I was amazed, it was crammed full but everybody seemed to be in a good mood, smiling and apologising if trolleys bumped, when me and DD got to the checkout it was all women on their own queueing and the Dunkirk spirit sort of took over us all, everybody started chatting and helping to unload each others trolleys. I don't know how much of that was DD's fault though as she's only 5 and very cute when she wants to be.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I went to Tesco at 12.45 last night and got home at 3.20. It was really scary being at the car park alone!
Anyway, the shops were quite quiet, but not as quiet as I thought they'd be, and there were even children there! Lots of stock all over the place, had to do some crafty driving with the old trolley! LOL. Picked up 8/10 things off my list, only stuff missing was yorkshire puds. Couldn't get booze, completely forgot about not being able to sell after 11pm.
Went to go again today to get remaining two items. FORGET IT. There were queues of around 30-40 people, per queue. This was around 5pm today. No chance. I've learned my lesson, I'm done this year."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
That sounds lovely! All I got was rolled eyes and mumblings about everyone having the same idea to come at night!moggins wrote:Tesco was great today, I was amazed, it was crammed full but everybody seemed to be in a good mood, smiling and apologising if trolleys bumped, when me and DD got to the checkout it was all women on their own queueing and the Dunkirk spirit sort of took over us all, everybody started chatting and helping to unload each others trolleys.
