LegalBlonde, I want someone who loves me for who I am, not what I look like. Sure, I like it when he does say that I'm beautiful but I like it more when he notices how thoughtful I am with him or his friends, because that is who I am, not my current appearance. When I am covered in wrinkles, I will still be that same person. I want this for OP, too. I hope that her OH does love her for who she is and is just having difficulty in expressing this.
I know a lot of people in their 80's and I can't think of any who are a size 10...0 -
I wonder what the OP's OH looks like..?4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0

To be fair, she posted this at 11:17pm last night. It could well be she went to bed afterwards and has since gone to work.
She mentioned doing well at work so it is safe to say she's most likely a hard worker.0 -

You can keep hoping all you like, that you are right, doesn't make it so. :cool:Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Oh yeah lol sorry, i just saw 4 pages of discussion with nothing from the OP....yes I am sure she is at work and will have a look later....I have only been out of work a few weeks and totally lost sync with the working day lol
It wasn't really a slight on the OP just more talking to myself that it is ridiculous arguing with others about minor points when the OP has not even been back yet to read anyone's suggestions or give more info....Debt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

I'm not 'hoping' for anything, I would be interested to know what the secret of permanent lifelong slenderness is as this woman seems to have found it!
Maybe she is one of those lucky people with a great metabolism who can eat anything they like and still has their ribs protruding? Well so was my aunt, who weighed about 7 stone until she hit the menopause and now she's obese as she never learned to control her eating habits!
Maybe she's a complete calorie control freak who's at the gym every day at 6am and you just can't imagine her ever letting herself go? Well if she ever needs chemo, or has an accident that confines her to wheelchair, or gets a thyroid disorder, she might suddenly find she's not quite as in control of her body as she thought she was!
I'm all in favour of people taking the best care of themselves they can, but I hate the arrogant attitude that 'fatness' can always be avoided and won't happen to them!0
