barclaycard offered last week 0% @ 2.5% fees until may 09 statement.. a week later (yesterday) i get a letter saying my account has been closed.. i called them and they had no idea what was going on ... they confirmed my acc has been closed but they also confirmed the deal was still valid and that i will continue to receive statements...
is it just me or that sound really weird?:beer:0 -
Barclaycard offered me 0% until August with 3% fee. slightly better than the 6.9% for life and 2.5% fee for me as my standard purchase rate is 6.9% anyways, so once August offer ends then I will revert to 6.9% so I will have achieved 9 months saving of interest of about 2% which will equate to about £70 saving. Better than a kick in the teeth.0

Looking for repeat deals (0% on either purchase or BT) on the following currently zero balance cards. Anyone had any luck with any of these?
M&S &More
Nationwide Classic
Skycard
Also, have Ulster Gold ending in Feb '09 and would like to transfer an MBNA balance to it which ends in March '09. Are they likely to offer a repeat deal so soon after clearing the balance and are they still offering a fee free BT?
Many thanks for any help or advice “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I've recently cleared this deal and will shortly be asking for another. Need to wait a couple of weeks because I want another credit limit increase and the requisite 6 months haven't elapsed yet.
Strong reports on the stoozing site of existing Gold card holders bagging the standard Mastercard/Visa product as well (0% for 9 months, 1.5% BT fee, and similar £3K limits).
Good luck.0 -
Only been stoozing about a year. This is the first existing customer offer Ive had. SkyCard gave me two cheques to use at 0% until August next year.Mark0

Strangely enough they only ever send me 0% cheques when I already have an exisiting balance on the card
Last statement I received with zero balance and the cheque attached has no special offer and also has a 2.99% handling fee for using it!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Yes I did have an existing balance on the card. So I will pay the total balance off before using the cheque.Mark0 -
