Help! Has anyone heard of EastDebtClear? Says they can clear all your debts, loans and credit cards to 0 for a small fee. Something to do with Consumer Act 1974. Are they legal ???0

Sorry twiuggy its most likely that they will charge you a large sum of money and in the end leave you worse off. In truth there are no easy way to write off debt.
I would suggest that you a) have a look at the Debt free board on MSE
b) consider if you want to talk to the Citizens Advise - who won't charge you a penny.

Just noticed that Barclaycard are putting in a 2.5% BT fee for life of balance transfers at 6.9%.....how long's this been going on? - it used to be free!!For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070

Just payed off the last offer a few days ago which expired. Phoned up but no offers on the account at the moment. Shame, I need to get in before they bring in 5% fees!
I pay off my card in the next couple of days and need to get an offer before the 5% fees!!!. but as yet I have not received any intimation from virgin.:beer::beer::beer:0 -
for info I have just rung Nat West after paying off at the end of the 0% rate, was told there are no offers at the moment but they should have some in a couple of weeks, no idea if this is true but I was asking to close my card so if there were any I assume they would have offered something.0

Just got a statement from Asda (GE Money) current BT ending in a few weeks, offer with statement 0% 6 months 2.99% fee.
Obviously hoping to trap my current BT but its paid off now, muhaa
Will prove useful though as have another BT ending in next month.0
