Take a photo copy of both sides of the ticket before tearing anything off
This evidence will be useful in an appeal
they have there own enforcement company who say if you park in a restricted area of the car park, you may be clamped.
The only space left on the car park was a disabled bay and there she parked,(wrong i know).
when she returned to the car she found a ticket on the screen, apparetely issued by a local parking warden, who had come into the surgery to collect a prescription.!!
This warden normally works in the town and surrounding streets.
Could someone please advise, is this warden allowed to issue parking tickets on private land.
But do you mean it's even a real Council ticket? You need to get off this old thread which is six months old and look at the current live forum advice. Read the stickies if it's not a Council ticket:

Parking Charge Notice = private ticket (fake - ignore it and the letters they send)
Penalty Charge Notice = real Council ticket, appeal it with pepipoo forum help:

Hopefully i've provided the drivers with enough info to fight their case and to give these companies a 'run for thie money'.
However, I cannot find any reference to the menace that many pirate car park gangs are using.
The "Don't Leave area" dodge. It works like this. You park in a store's car park your child needs the toilet before you shop, you nip across the road to the WC Speedy Gonzales the car park attendant slaps a ticket on your car.
Halfords Swindon are guilty of this. I am resisting, citing ECHR article 2 protocol 4 the 'right of freedom of movement within a state' Contract unfair terms Act 1977 and the fact that there is no proof that I was driving the car and no proof that I left the area. They cannot claim loss of revenue because parking is free on all this company's sites. Therefore they fall down on all counts.
Sadly the only winners in this case are the lawyers if you go to a solicitor, I was quoted £300 just for a solicitor to examine the file I have developed.
We need to begin a concentrated campaign to wipe out these car park bullies.
Whilst I admire your stance you search of this forum couldn't have been very thorough. There are endless threads discussing this subject indeed you will find many references to the case of VCS v Ibbotson heard at Scun_thorpe county court earlier this year where a gentleman was sued for having left a car park to visit nearby premises. The case failed and the private parking company was roundly criticised by the judge who suggested at one point that if their legal representative had to return to court before him she'd best bring her toothbrush with her.
Read some of the thousands of threads here which will enlighten you fully as to what has been going in the country for some eight years to my certain knowledge and what the current state of play is.
Other than that, raking up a thread which is nearly a year old serves no purpose.
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
