Hi all,

I need a room in Milan 27-30 April, can I do this 'double the price refund' deal too? Sorry have to quickly type whilst at work and really desperate to get a deal in Milan - can anyone help? I will book whatever you recommend - we will be landing in Malpensa airport, Milan.

I don't want to book it and then get stung for the whole amount as we have little cash for this trip x

just a quick note to all claimers, I have just chased as I emailed this morning (via the online form) and it went to SPAM where the guy found it. he has rescued my email and dealing with it.

Well chuffed just checked my e-mail and i've received this

I would like to inform you that your claim has been approved and you would be refunded with the doubled difference within 30 days after the completion of your stay.

But it doesn't say how much will be refunded. Should i e-mail them and ask them to confirm how much.

well I got nowhere with my claim they are sticking to that they won't refund my claim because
1) https://www.findmeaccom.co.uk charge cc and EJ don't so saying its not like for like
2) that the hotel is no longer bookable for that price ,even though I sent screenshot's

I will just cancel and pay the £15 fee, think I have just been unlucky this time but I am still hoping that the policy sticks around for a while would love to try again for Sept maybe spain or somwhere childfriendly

Well I have booked the flights to Milan (Malpensa) via Easyjet from Gatwick - just £96 for both of us return.

I have also booked the massively overpriced 4* Hotel Dei Cavalieri (£551) and submitted a claim as DIYTravel.co.uk have it for £236 for the same nights.

I called EasyHotel and they said to submit a claim as long as the hotel room / dates etc were the same, which I know they are as I checked DIYHotel just before I booked with EasyHotel. I also kept a screenshot just in case of any queries.

Did this all a few minutes ago. Am eagerly awaiting EasyHotel response - slightly panicked at having spent £550 on 3 nights hotel that I can't afford if I don't get it back x

Oooh it was lovely, 2 trips to barca in a month, i could live there!! weather so warm i sunbathed in Sitges and got a mozzie bite!

I booked in the mother in laws name as soon as the first hotel was confirmed. wouldnt want to make a huge financial mistake twice!!
