I'm getting confused, can someone please help me out. When it says 'must be to an EzyJet destination' ie where EJ flies into am i able to select a destination from their A-Z dropdown (in my case Dublin) and then look for cheap flights via any other carrier, in my case Ryanair?? Someone please say yes, as there's only RyanAir flies to Dublin from my neck of the woods (NCL). TIA.0

Yes
You do not have to book a flight with Easyjet. Just make sure they fly to the destination you want to book. It will say if it is covered by their Double the Difference Guarantee under each hotel.
I suggest you read the posts carefully to find the best sites to use to compare prices.
Good luck !

budgetflyer wrote:Its all very well getting a freebie hotel, but you really want to build it around some cheap flights. By booking the hotel first, and this early, you are limiting your options when the budget airlines bring their winter schedules out.

at certain times of the year the flights will be dearer, maybe better to wait until the flights are released then select a cheap flight there and back then find a hotel. otherwise you could book a free hotel but wont find a cheap flight on those dates!0 -

Yes, I know what you mean, Im after Dublin too, but Ill need to wait to next month to book. Id assume if its in the drop down box then it should be ok, however we cant be certain, it may just be based around airport areas they fly to ie Belfast area or Shanon area0 -

Yes TBeckett100, thats EXACTLY what I mean.
Say for instance Fri 16 nov for 3 nights in Barcelona
If you could bag a free stay at X hotel comparing against anothersite.com
But when the flight schedules come out it could be £200 return those dates. where as the prev or following weekend, the flights could be half that or less. Until you see the flight prices, its a huge gamble and most of the budget airlines are only up to the end of October just now.0 -

Bob, not many of the hotels actually quote the 'Double the Difference' slogan. Am i safe to assume that if a destination is listed in their A-Z then it's a valid location? How can i check otherwise that EJ actually fly to that destination?0 -

You could check the destination map on their website. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
